Well, give me all the exact measures of the box and i´ll tell you, just remember something, cutting down the lenght of the port it´s gonna raise your tuning even more, not the other way around. By the way, 16" long for a 1.5 cubic feet box it{s around 50 hz, so i guess he´s right about the specs he gave you, i think it´s time for you to try a bigger and more efficient box, if not, well, for a 1.5 cubic feet box you need that external port around 22" long to get a 44 hz tuning... DAMN!!! are you sure??? i mean, that port is long as hell, what{s the size of that box?? i would try tuning the box around 7 hz below the peak of the car, i don´t know about yours, but if it´s a trunk car i would say it must be around 52 hz maybe?? tuning that box around 43-45 hz should increase the score for sure

Yeah sure, remember that it´s not a constant, sometimes those things work and other times they don´t , but it´s fun as hell testing all those things if you have a meter. I would try changing that port, flare is way too small, with a bigger and better flare i know your score can go up without any problems, also, have you tried retuning that box?

I would do something like 19" x 36" x 26" with a 17.5" x 6" port with a 25" long, that would give you around 6.4 cubic feet and 105 SQ of port with a 36 hz tuning, at least that´s similar of what i would do, i{m guessing you are gonna build the box inside the trunk right??

Don´t know much about that trunk, can you get the maximun dimensions available? i might try to help you out, but i´m not even close to some of the great builders out there like ray or strongman designs!

I would do 6.5 cubic feet and around 110SQ of port, tuning depends on the kind of music you like, what´s the car? what amount of power are you gonna use?
