my box is 45 Mine it´s 41 on the maths , but after 45´s , threaded rods and a couple of other things i´m pretty sure it´s around there lol, it plays low anyways, got to love DD´s

There isn´t actually a sweet spot hommie, depends on your music likes and also the box size, for example, my kind of small box in the explorer is tuned to 40 hz and i get fucking loud from there to 55 hz wich are the frequencies i wanted, on the other hand, last box was way bigger with same tuning and got louder from 35 to almost 50 hz, remember that a small box has more output (generally speaking) on higher frequencies and viceversa, this isn´t a constant tho, that´s why i said generally speaking. Said all that, since you have a big ass box you would be loud from 30 hz without anyproblems since those subs can play strong below tuning frequency, on the other hand, if you were building a much smaller box, i would tune it to 30 hz so i could play the lows nice , just saying...

I honestly think it also depends on the car, 2 examples: We built a nissan sentra , tried everything back and it was loud, tried everything forward and was WAY louder even without been sealed off, on the other hand, hyundai accent with everything forwards sounded ok, sealed that thing off the trunk and got better but not that loud, turned the box and everything back was WAY louder!!!!

I´ve seen only a few vehicles that get louder with sub back/port up , such as the Ford Focus and maybe some extended cabs with the box on the back seat area, for a SUV i would never build a box like that, subs up/port back , sub back/port back or subs up/port side should work great, maybe you could find someone on termpro that have tested the 97 4runner, try searching over there...

Hey guys, not much, i had a blast playing golf again with my dad, had a long time without doing it, we actually played very good for the amount of time without touching the clubs ( almost 9 months for me) , i did an 84 on a par 72 golf course, but damn, watching at my swing looks like i did 95 lol , i mean, look at that piece of shit backswing,i dunno why the hell i couldn´t rotate on one plane , thank god i could get the club in position ready to start the downswing, looks like furyk´s swing , and let´s not talk about manteining the lag, there wasn´t ANY lag at all, on the last part of the video i drove 290 to carry the water on the left and i got exactly 310 yards, but that was the only good drive i hit. haha yes it´s a big difference, at least for my ears, 1 db i can´t hear any difference but after 2 dbs i can, maybe it´s a placebo? haha i dunno, but i honestly can hear a difference after 2 dbs

I haven´t use the AQ2200.1 BUT, i have used the DD m3a wich is basically the same amp (DD and AQ are the same company father/son) , dude, those amps are MONSTERS, if you go with 2 AQ2200.1´s i can asure you that your score is gonna raise A LOT, at least 2 dbs and to the ear should get way louder, i say definitly go with the AQ´s if they can get to your home before the comp, if not, then next week

Lol thanks, but no I only metered it once and had like 5 minutes and never got a chance to adjust anything so I just tried 30hz to see what itll do and did a 150.8 and that was with just the one amp, so a higher frequency and having some time to mess with a meter and both amps I'm sure I'd be mid 50's That´s one kickass score man, would love to get a demo from a loud ground pounding explorer since mine it´s a high frequencies monster!!! Yea mine loves these lows. I'm just now in the process of deadening so should even be better soon. Remember what i told you, no deadning on the back door, that thing dropped my score A LOT, i would seal the back window tho...
