  1. you may be right i am going to have to look into this, its pretty hard to imagine it dosent its a brand new car, and foreign, and most data bus cables loot like regular wire. Have found any company that makes a vehicle specific harness for this car?
  2. 9 out of 10 times if you cant find a acessory wire its because the vehicle uses the data bus cable for the acessory. I am not 100% sure if it does but I am leaning that it does, just because most newer vehicles do. There is a easy way to determine this if your door chime runs through the door speakers then theres the problem. I am going to tell you this through experience if you have a data bus wire and say fuck it and pull a acessory lead from some where else you are going to FUCK youre car up. The pcm constantly communicates with the radio and if you go ripping shit out and rigging the wires you will eventually burn up the pcm so I highly recomend you find a vehicle specific harness for this, it may be a bit difficult cause its a 2010.
  3. check this program out its called flare-it its pretty sweet. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for http://www.subwoofer-builder.com/flare-it.htm
  4. If you are a kicker guy look in to the comp vr those are a good entry level sub and will give you a descent amount of bang for your buck and actually id check at local audio stores a lot of kicker dealers offer those in buy one get one free deals to compete with online sales and youll get a warranty to Orion hcca those are great entry level to haha jk but bad ass subs !
  5. If you are on a tight budget then thats not a bad deal I didnt pay attention to how much shipping was, but personally i think you will get bored with that pretty quick . As far as brand wise thats kinda personal opinion alot of people here are into spl or just LOUD ASS music haha. I would recomend a lil beefer of a sub that way when you are ready for more BOOM you can just adjust shit.
  6. there is this company called super crew sound they make custom boxes for trucks if you arent up to it and they are about as cheap as you could build one finished.
  7. Hi everyone, I have a 2006 GMC sierra short bed regular cab. I have a project that isn't as crazy as the rest but going to be a bit of work and frustration but thats why we love this shit. What i am trying to attempt here is to have this truck lay as close as possible to frame on 24's. as well, I have a 454 block I'm going to stroke out to a 502 and keep it all naturally aspirated so now blower kit or anything like that. But does any one know of a forum that sheds light onto the fabrications that are going on the air ride. I do know how to weld as well, I design and fabricate custom upholstery and mobile electronics by trade so I am not new to this industry. This is a hobby to me, I do it out of passion so I refuse to pay to have it done. Regardless if i have to tear it down 10 times before i get it right, its a learning process. So I am going to fabricate the motor mounts in and slap the block in so i know exactly how much room i will have to work with, I have the 4.3 v6 in it now so it looks ridiculously small ( tons of room). Any light shed it greatly appreciated !!!
