looking for advice tips and tricks for painting your own car. not talking spray paint i have a few guns at my disposal wanting to do a base red ,clear with heavy black flake so looking for all the advice i can get.

so after thinking about this it seems like the only real issue i can think of is how to take my toshiba satellite l305-s5865 that has a 15" screen wich uses a 30 pin connector and extend the cables and be able to use a 10" led screen that way i wont have issues with not being able to see the screen if its of center i was looking at a screen like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/DELL-INSPIRON-MINI-10-10-1-LAPTOP-LCD-SCREEN-LED-/310283059478?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483e4fc116 but that uses a 40 pin connector im gona look on ebay and see if i can find a 10" led screen with a 30 pin but if not how would i go about finding how to wire from my laptop to that 10" screen i posted?

nah i dont wana steal peoples internet cause that does me no good on the highway if i wana surf the web wich seems kinda unlikely lol idk though i kinda like the idea of getting internet threw my phone i prolly shouldnt worry to much about internet for a laptop that isnt even built into the car yet so i guess ill cross the bridge when i get there. im still not understanding how to get an unlimited data plan when the most verizon offers is 10g is that something u can only get with the older droid or is it a mod to the phones os?

sounds like a good deal would i be able to do the same thing with the newest droid bionic? / in looking at verizons plans i cant get unlimited data for any of the droids most there is is 10g and where i live pretty much the only serivice providers i can use are virizon and att im in northern ny right by canada so in places by the water att is junk wich is pretty much where im living at im gona go look into att phones though. i really want a droid i think there mad sexy but what u just described would work perfect for my plan

anyone used att or verizons usb internet adapters i think thats what im going to use for my internet in the car i plan to incorperate the webcam somewhere as well so i need a usb wireless device that can support camming as well as downloads. im not to sure how those adapters work are they unlimited data? in looking at the verizon ones it doesnt say doesnt even list a speed in mb

i think the switch would be easyest but i think im going go the route of the relay that way everything will sorta function as stock./ its gona be abit before i do this i have to find a smaller screen for my laptop looking at the ones in the acer mini laptops that are led there about 10" and 40 on ebay just have to figure out how to wire it into my laptop. when i start cutting up my console ill deff be making a huge buid log just waiting to get a few things before i start. this is going in a 98 neon btw and kickass thanks so much for explaining the relay for me u have been extreamly helpfull

how would i wire a relay and were would i find more info on this. / also i wasnt talking a inline switch the inverter has a switch in its self i was talking about taking that switch running longer wires to the dash somewhere if that makes sence? using the same wires for the switch just re routing them

its a 20amp fuse i think the reason it blew is because i was trying to run the laptop threw the inverter threw the cig lighter cause i was running a ipod charger threw the inverter after replacing the fuse and it didnt have a problem. im thinking some 8g running from the battery to the inverter not sure what amp inline fuse id use. but my next question is with the inverter being on all the time wont that kill my battery? best way to get around that would be to wire the on and off switch of the inverter to somewhere on the dash btw thanks for being so helpfull

the power inverter is 200 watts and says up to 1.7 amps on the brick for my laptop it doesnt list wattage just input and output intput is 100-240v -50-60hz 1.5a output 19v 3.96a

i have a power inverter with + - wires on it so it has an adapter for a cig lighter or u could run direct from the battery im not sure on the wattage so ill go look in a min but before when i was using it it blew the fuse in my cig lighter not sure if its cause the inverter is to small for the laptop

do u think it would be a less expensive route to run a power inverter instead? i have an old laptop thats duel 1.8s 2g ddr2 with no hdd i was gona get a tb for it and a screen of one of those acer small laptops and mold it into my car take the board out of my toshiba and find somewhere to put it in the car. also does anyone know of a wireless keyboard that also has a mouse built in as well as a volume knob on the keyboard its self. ive been on newegg and cant seem to find one that has all 3 of those things and the ones i find with the volume knob arnt wireless

k so my laptops power supply is ur standered brick with out a ground just a 2 prong plug. im wondering how would i hardwire this into the car with out using an inverter. a laptop uses a 12v powers upply so could i just cut the cord after the prick and hardwire it with to the battery?

i have the newer se motors on a 12 spoke basket with a recone from fi and i love it i think it gets down really low and sounds really good so perhaps the sex dont use that good of coil,cone,spider combo idk but i deff love my 12 j/s

yes but if u dont want to spend the extra $ to have something thats basicly a mic listening then sending signal telling lights to blink u can do it with an amp power is power jl took one of there amps sent a low hz threw it wired a saz all to it and cut another amp in half power is power it will work and itll work fine dont spend the extra money for something when u dont need to

because if the xmax is to high the coil can come out of the motor. i like the looks of the ti baskets and i like the idea of building my own custom sub with a higher then stock xmax

and ive seen alot of threads were u can be a dick and others where you can be helpfull i have ideas thats why i ask i have went threw with some of the things ive asked i dont have alot of money so im rather limited thats why you see more ideas then actions would you like pics of my se's would that make you post something helpfull or? arnt the stock xxx pretty bad ass as far as xmax goes anyway?

so ive been looking on caco and seeing some ti baskets. ive been wanting to make a dc level 5 or 6 with a ti basket with coil that goes rather high up the former so it can have a very high xmax. what do you guys think of that im wanting to make a lvl 5 or 6 that has stupid high xmax. what are your guys thoughts and opinions on this i really am wanting a true custom subwoofer.

i may go with coil overs im at a mid point with the car right now eather its gona be a sexy dd and a sq car or im gona sell all my subs and amp and get a 04 turbo pt cruiser drop out motor with srt4 tranny and intake and have the car be a fast dd. do you need a compresser with bags or can you just have tanks that you re fill at o lets say a gas station with free air?

couldnt u just put a spl dust cap on a dc level 6 and be all good to go? banning anything is kinda retarded there will always be away around things like that.
