  1. $16 - UPS Ground, $66 is a hell of a deal for a perfectly good Type R!
  2. I have for sale a 10" Alpine Type R D4, its brand new. Bought it new from a shop a while ago. Has about 5 hours of play on it. Suspension is still stiff. Has never been clipped or over-powered. Only saw 1/4 gain from an AudioPipe 1500. Cosmetics: 8.5/10 (just some small nicks and scratches on basket and motor) $50 + Shipping I also have some Pioneer 6x9 4-Ways I bought from Wal-mart for $40, I'll let them go for $15 + Shipping. They've never been hooked up, just took them out of the box.
  3. rofl.. i know exactly what you mean about kids cutting holes for ports.. bought a box off a kid the other day, was covered in bed-liner, so didn't question it.. took the sub out, and bam! had peices of mdf, partical-board and what looked like part of a dresser drawer lmao.. the port was a little 1" peice of plastic tubing.
  4. yeah lol.. it was that vid.. and if somebody really wants it, i guess i'll post it on here tomorrow or something.
  5. i guess i could wait.. i've been trying to sell it for $50, which IMO is a really good deal, considering the cheapest you find them at online dealers is 120.. but then again, i've always wanted to wall-socket a sub.. lol.. only reason i said that was cuz i saw a vid erlier where some guy tried to do a T3 TSNS and zapped his thumb, turned black.
  6. yeah, i have a brand new 10" type r, that i've been trying to sell for super cheap for weeks, nothing wrong with it at all, nobody wants it, so i'm going to wall-socket the bitch! just wanting to know if there's a proper or safe way to do it so i don't kill myself or something.
  7. well.. since lvl 4's are 1k rms.. are they the best 1k subs since, AQ, Fi, DD, RE, and everybody else on the market makes a sub rated at 1k rms?
  8. right now stock deck since it's a 2011. and yes i'm everything else is includeded in the budget, but i don't need help with that stuff, just the amp and subs. as for highs, i talked to him about compenents and stuff, and he said he would upgrade later on.
  9. i just showed him a video of 2 dc xl's on 6krms and he said he almost jizzed his pants.. and now he's saying he might get a car, but he's dead set on getting a killer system. i heard sundown amps are efficient but super expensive.
  10. i know, but 3500rms+ amps are like $700, which doesn't leave me much money for anything else.
  11. he wants them under the seats, but i dont know if thats big enough for 12's. considering he doesnt have the truck yet. and it's going to be a 4 door.
  12. Yeah, I've been talking to my buddy that's stationed over in Iraq right now, he comes back in July, and he wants me to install a system for him. He gave me a $1500 budget, but I don't know where to start.. There's just too many woofers, amps, and brands to choose from.. This is going in an F350. He also doesn't want any "crappy" brands like, power acoustik, lanzer, pyle, dual, sony, or anything like that. I was thinking some DC XL's and a RF 1500, but I don't know, somebody help me plz! What's Included in the Budget: 2 12's Amp Box Wiring Extra Deep Cyle Bat. Deadener and all that other good stuff.
  13. so.. for torres, what do i do? just input that i want to use say 1, 3" aero and tuned to 32hz, and it will do the rest?
  14. how do you figure out the displacement of your subs and how do you tune a box with aeros? can you do it with torres? if so, how do you do it?
  15. Box I posted goes behind seats, not in an extended cab. yeah, i know. i just think carpeted truck boxes like that are kind of bland and boring. i want something different. and i dont know if ill have eough space to mount the subs if i put them behind the seat. im a little bigger than the average guy, so i have the seat back more than most, and there's hardly any room as it is.
  16. well.. what do you guys suggest.. i just want something different, not willing to throw in an ugly truck box..
  17. the truck isnt an extended cab. the box is going in-between the seats.
  18. can't go with a 12, the width of my box is going to be 10-12", going to be around 45" from dashboard to rear, and about a 12" high. - well, those are the max dimensions i have to work with. wth is a supercharged dd?
  19. auto FTL.. i was thinking 2 10's or 3 8's, cuz the box is going to extend from the dashboard, all the way to the back of the cab. if i had a extended or crew cab, it'd be a different story.. (wall) More is almost always better...as long as the subs are getting the correct amount of air space. You may be on the wrong site. :pardon: go big or go home? 3 8's was my second choice because i figured they barely required any airspace.
  20. AQ 2200d, AudioPipe 3000d or a DC 2k on 3 of em. Haven't decided yet.
  21. I need someone to walk me through how to make tweeter pods for my A Pillar. Its a 01 S-10, I want to put make 2 pods for each pillar. I need help on everything, what products to use, what tools i need. I know how to do body work, filler, fiber-glass, dent-repair and all that, but no experiance with plastics.
  22. Yeah, wondering if anybody could give me some rough estimates or a box designs for 3 8" TC Sound Epics. The box is for a regular cab s-10, i'm taking the bench seats out and putting buckets in, then i'm building a custom center console inbetween the seats. These are the dimentions I have to work with: 45" x 12" x 7-10" Wanting to know if that would be enough room for them. box tuned to 32hz, with subs and port firing up.
  23. lol.. i want something that will handle more than 400rms.. and i don't understand how the v.2 is better? does it have good response around 30hz or something?
