A lot of people say money can't buy happiness, but in my opinion it does; to a certain point. If somebody walked up to me and gave me 10g's and said go build a bad-ass system, I'd be the happiest mother fucker on the planet. Honestly, I think if you have too much money you won't be happy. As long as there's something you want, and don't have the money for you'll be fine, but if you have too much money and have everything you could possibly want, what's the point? That's just my opinion, but what do I know, I'm only 18. :/

What amp under $400 would you guys recommend?

Sup, one of my buddies has a 18" SoloX with a Boss 5000w going to it. I got a little "demo" from him today and to be honest it doesn't sound very loud for an 18.. It's also in a tiny sealed box. The amp puts out 3500rms at 2ohms, so I don't understand why it's not that loud. Could it be the box, or maybe the settings on the amp arn't right? Somebody please help me out.

AudioQ it is! Would 2 SDC2.5 10's be louder than 1 HDC3 12"?

Thanks guys, I was just going to find a component set for my s-10. I want 2 tweeters, 2 6.5's and 2 4x6's to replace all of the stock stuff.

So I need to buy another amp to run it, or can it run off the headunit?

How do component sets work, and what is the difference between 2-way and 3-way speakers?
