well im going to look at a car on saturday, its a 1991 nissan 240sx with a fresh rebuilt engine (new everything and port and polished head) about 14k ago, with new clutch. hes a certified mechanic. and new lsd differental tie rods and front bushings. only bad thing is car needs new struts and a fender. its pretty cheap so if it runs good im going to get it. but its 2 hours away. im taking my dad and 2 of his mechanic friends with me to make sure i dont get ripped. only question is my dad said i cant drive it home without tags or insurance but if i get pulled over cant i just say i just bought it and taking it home? also im in missouri and that car is in kansas if that matters. but what can i do? my dad said he can tow it home with his tahoe. but i wanna drive it home best part is its a 2 door hatchback, wont take much to get loud. im got tired of my trunk car.

Alright sweet. So any rca will work or do I need a special one from jacob? Lol I know for sure to do the br output to the input on the slave. And I know for sure to connect the negatives together. So the master is basically positive and the slave negative? I'm only going to have one lead of pos and neg so I put the pos in the masterr and neg in the slave pos input? And that would give me 1 ohm at each amp?

I have a saz1500 and need 3k and I have 2 subs that are dual 2s.. so I can get a 2 ohm or .5. I was going to sell my amp and get a audiopipe 3k but I started thinking and realized I could pick up a used saz1500 for cheaper then a 3k.. and better quality and power. Only thing is would I be able to strap them with my options? I saw a write up and saw I need a rca to go from output of master to input of slave. Okay I got that. Then connect the negs together. Check. Then I saw 2 pos leads come out of the master and 2 pos leads come out of the slave but I think if I read those correctly the positive leads coming out the slave are the negatives? He said the ohm load gets cut in half so if I strap and wire my subs toghether for 2 ohm each amp would see 1 ohm? Sorry I'm new to this whole strapping amps thing and wanted to see if this would work betore I buy the amp.. would I have to use both positives and negatives or can I use just one positve and neg? Since ill only have one lead coming out for 2 ohm. Sorry for this long write up just trying to make sure I got this right! Lol thanks

well im just going to recone them.. new parts, cone etc. and going to use a full cone inverted carbon fiber dustcap yummmmmm they are about a year old now and will just like to have new subs.

so sand paper or razor blade? i know i was thinking of inverting but i like seeing subs excursion lol

well i just bought some subs dirt cheap, 2 13 psi ed recones. only thing is the surrounds have some great stuff on them.. they still work 100% fine! but is there anyway to remove the great stuff safley>

little late here but ordered a head unit from him, just as described. always responded, thought usps lost it and he offered to refund my money etc, just bad ass seller. will do business anytime

yup, jsut match the fuses on your amp, so 120 amp fuse

then do it right and you wont have that problem i understand abhout the alt.. i wouldnt trust even myself doing it lol id pay someone to do that. but man its easy.. really.. get power wire.. run it to the back.. (fused of course connected to positive on battery) and then thats your positive.. pop out your head unit and run a remote (tells amp to turn on and off) and run some rcas (sends signal to amp) then run those back.. finally find a good solid ground to put your amp too.. clean off any paint or anything then tie down a terminal and plug everything into your amp.. your done.. other then plugging in subs and tuning amp but thats easy
