yeah thats what mine is. completly stock electrical .no big 3 or anything. at idle it does 13.5v with nothing on. doing big 3 and putting a xs power 3400 in the back soon though. should help

what is your voltage at idle with no subs on? like just normal idle? 14.4?

this happened to me. but for somereason the fuse by the battery blew. the amp isnt internally fused so i got lucky i guess. still works fine lol and plus the car was off

i say tape. but what you can do is cut out pieces of carboard to the shape of the gaps and tape it into the gap. so it supports the tape so its stronger. and it helps block it. kinda like a trim panel lol

i know just saying. and plus its a trunk car with non folding seats. so it really surprised me how it hit the lows.

im loving 35hz right now. suprised me with how low it got. and it gets loud too

WOW. trust me man. fi is really good quality. way better then main stream. and plus when it blows (if it does) you can recone and get a brand new sub for about 100ish bucks.

alright so ive been rocking a fi btl 12 fully loaded (new style) for a while now. butttt its in a small prefab firing back. i think like 2 cubes after all displacment. tuned to a one note wonder lmao. and im upgrading to a btl 18 (recoing this one) but that wont be for about a month or 2 weeks. depends how much my check is. and its on a autotek 1900. set gain with dmm to 1900 ha. anyways i have a box that i was using for my 2 12 dc lvl 3. it was 1.6cubes per sub tuned to 35hz with 2 4' aero ports (flared) 14" long. what im thinking of doing is putting the btl in it and covering one of the holes. this would give me around 3 cubes. and tuned to about 33-34hz. i would fire foward and seal it off. would it be a huge differnece? i just need something to last me until i get money for the 18. i dont even think its hitting a 140 right now. will this be a big difference?

yeah what he said. reset your gain. what was your old head unit? if it had more pre out volts then your gain is set lower then what it used to be.

dude i really dont think you would need a bigger alternator for 1200rms.... just get a small back batt like a hc800 or something and you wont have a prob. im running a t1000 in my car at 1 ohm with a hc800 in the back with a 4 gauge run to the back and 0 gauge to the amp. just get a back batter and use 0 guage. you should be set
