from what i have read on this forum its a general rule to use ~16sqin of port per cubic foot. does that also apply for aero ports?

in a 12 volt system do you need the VCM in order to use the 14 volt battery? i know that the vcm allows you to set a cap on voltage so i wasn't sure if its required when using the 14 volt battery

this well he connected it to my battery so i am assuming is both the battery and alt?

running to the frame is the same as running from neg port to back battery neg port becasue the fron battery is grounded to frame.. but by using the frame there is less resistance so in short back battery short run to frame = better.

i want to know how to choose what frequency to tune your sub woofer enclosure to? Say my sub-woofer's fs =31 hz do i tune the box th 31 hz?

ok so i plan on having one aq 2200d so i wanted to see what my current electrical system sat. i went to auto zone and he hooked up the machine to my battery. the volts were sitting ~13.5v idle and total amps was 250 and change. this is all before a big 3 upgrade. should this be good ?

ok so if i wired the 4 ohm subs in series it would drop from 4 ohms t0 2 omhs ? or since they are dual voice coil it would drop to 1 ohm?

hmm well i cant get this all at once so ill probably get just 1 18 and a decent amp and eventually get all of this thanks guys
