1. New plan, I am going to be running all new wire from the head unit to the speakers. The wiring diagram is right for the power and ground but I just want to run new wire eventually anyways. When the head unit gets here sometime next week I will post pictures of the progress
2. I am putting a "JVC KW-XR610" in my 2001 oldsmobile intrigue, But the problem is, how do I wire it, because the car has a Bose system in it with the Bose amp, how would I wire the new headunit in with the old amp?
3.

the price is $60. and its already sold since no one responded on here for awhile.

4. So then that kit will work? because it says it fits 9006 so i wouldnt see why not.
5. Then which kit would you perfur? couldnt i just disable the low/high? and only use it as low? and on ddm tuing where I'll be getting the hids, i would get the h1 bulb correct? with h1/h7 to 9006 Adaptor cable?
6. I'm asking is there any other maybe eaiser way to do projectors in my car? http://www.theretrof...roducts_id=3181 I just found these and it says "Also perfect for 9006, 9007, H11, and H13 applications" and I have a 9006 bulb type(low beams) So thats perfect, right? It says high/low beam, i only need low beam, I wouldnt mind disabling the original high beams or maybe just have both, low/high, and my stock high beams. that would be fine, I just really want projector headlights and fog lights, because Hids in stock housing is a no-no, thats why I'm wanting to get projectors.
7. I'm trying to retrofit or find projector headlights that will work for my car(2001 oldsmobile intrigue) I found these for a 240sx s13 they look the same as my headlight houseings, I will custom fit them of course but need something thats at least close and will fit and look good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-98-Nissan-Silvia-240SX-S14-JDM-Kouki-Headlights-Corners-OEM-180SX-S13-S15-/200674140250?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2eb91c605a http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silvia-S13-Nissan-Genuine-JDM-OEM-Dual-projector-Headlights-240sx-head-Lights-/330683451428?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4cfe450824 this is the headlights on my car,
8. Very interested. My birthday is the 26th and I will have enough money saved up after that.
9. Finally an update, oh and could mods rename this to 1998 ford f150 This has probably been ask many times before, but we need help setting gains on the amp. without an o-scope or dd1. I've read places about using a multimeter and finding the right volts after to a equation, but people say that is'nt true. what I'm talking about. amp rms * sub ohms = square route of this number is volts. so i would need 31.6 volts. correct?
10. I was thinking about doing the headlights in the 2001 olds intrigue I drive, but its my moms car that she said I could have so if I buy it from here then I'll be able to do it, unless I just buy a truck and buy projector lights for it and not retrofit
11. what about these? http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=227 what if I get a car that I can just buy projector headlights for instead of retrofitting. Would inspection still complain? if so I'll just put the old headlights in when its time for inspection.(every 2 years)
12. I was asking if it was like Steve's because he showed on his video you put the projector through the old light bulb hole, screw it in, and pretty much done. If it's like that then it should be no problem.
13. http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/servlet/the-303/9005-9006-HB4-HB3/Detail Is this kit easy to install like Steve did on his tahoe? Shave little pieces on housing and put the projector part In the hole? Or would there be more work then that? It says 9006/9005 Mountong/alignment Projector bases, does that pretty much mean what Steve did?
