not at all bro. really all you need to do is run one wire back to the pos on your amp. ground the meter somewhere up under your dash (or anywhere) and hook up the ignition wire on the meter to your remote wire on your deck. its really simple. -

stinger meters have 3 wires. + - and an ignition wire. + goes to + at amp and - to any ground source and ignition to your remote. i don't see the point of having the switch. i like to monitor my voltage at all times tho. -

no need for a toggle switch if he just hooks the ignition wire on the meter to his remote wire... -

some people will say its not necessary. i have never done it. people say to just not run full tilt for a week or two. you are welcome to come get this box i have. i think its 2-2.5 cubes sealed.
