well the battery tested ok, and supposedly the alternator did too.. but they didnt test the alternator under load it showed 14.5 volts... but when i tested it a few days ago it only showed 12.5 with all the accessories running... and the amperage was wayyy low like 50 something

i know... but im pretty sure the alternator is going out... it is a 19 year old car.. ill go check right now, brb

My amp wont stay on. When it does the lights will dim. I think that its making the battery go low. Because if you let it charge for a while it will run ok. Im looking into a hi-po alt for my car. Does any of the vendors on here make an alternator my m30? -jason

i have mine in a generic ported box with a cheap 800w, and im impressed by them. let me tell you having no budget sucks ass.. 1st order of business is a nice cheap amp

yea, i looked around. one place like a block away had it Stinger wire for like 10 bucks a foot, then another shop had a comparable brand for 6 bucks a foot. 6 or 10 bucks a foot vs 2 online makes it a no brainer... anyways I just bought 4 gauge. The guy at the shop I talked to said 1/0 was way overkill for the big 3..
