  1. Agreed^^^^^^^^ Even if they dont sell it for what you where quoted, it would be good business practice IMO. Yes even that would have been acceptable they didn't even try to work out anything.
  2. ya, sounds just like the guys who gave me their personal phone numbers, called me back after talking to me already, rushed to get my alt out the same day and called to check up on how the alt performed. im sure they are human and make some mistakes, as hard as they try not to. save more money or buy a cheaper model. they are not trying to screw you, thats just how much they cost. Im not saying they are trying to screw im saying they need to honor a mistake, and correct good quality cost but 479$ is not the price he quoted me it was 279$ so according to his 1st email 279 was what they cost. ya... there is no way they would take a $200 hit, i wouldnt. its not like giving you a discount, that would be far below their cost. People handle things differently but i do see ur point of view but its just aggevating and doesnt leave a good taste in my mouth with the company and one customer could of turned into 20 customers (referrals)you never know. there was a study, i dont remember exact numbers but its something like this; if a person has a bad experience they tell 20 people. if they have a good experience they tell 2. so there is no way making you happy gets them 20 customers. you would probably just brag that you got $200 off your alt because of some idiot. (maybe you would have been nicer about it lol). but now you are upset and you are telling the world about it(this isnt like talking to your friends). possibly costing them customers. so now maybe they lose money because of a very simple mistake. as small business owners, it takes money out of their pocket. you should just work with them next time over something so small. if they send you a fucked up alt, ya come tell us about it lol. but this just isnt worth it. lol i would believe but really im not like that i give credit were credit is due if they (IMO) would of done the right thing i would also stated a thread about how they did do the right thing and standing up to thier mistake.

  5. They shouldnt mistakes like this or others regularly hopefully they dont anyway
  6. Yes i do have email i read it to him on the phone yes people do make mistakes but proofread the email before it goes out that is a $200 difference if its 50 buck difference ok its not as bad but $200 is a huge difference i understand what your sayin i will have to keep saving but a company should live up to thier mistake and chalk up a loss or try to work somethin out with the customer dont try to act like i read it wrong or it wasnt a big deal. I thought 279$ was cheap to but heck for all i know they could of been running a specail on those alts i didnt know ive never associated with dc power.
  7. So late February i started looking for a H.O Alt so i email Dc Power and get a response within a couple hours i asked for a price quote for a alt to fit a pontiac g6 2006 3.5l and they explain the alts they carry and later in the email state the price of each alt available for my vehicle im reading and see 250xp for $279 im thinking great just what i need i email back and say i think im going to go with the 250xp and i will call to place the order when i come up with money i get no response to that email so i resend still no response im thinking may just be busy ill just call and order when i get the full amount i called today to place order and i wanted to ask some questions before i ordered like what the difference in the xp model and why was cheaper than the rest and i told him the price HE quoted me which was 279$ and he said oh no thats not the correct price idk how that happened its actually $479 so i wasted a month saving this money up thinking im buying my alt today and he says he quoted the wrong price on his own product and then didnt even own up to his mistake by standing by his product and his price that he gave me in an email maybe im overacting but i did alot to get the cash and it took me awhile (high school student).

  13. With a american bass vfl 120.1 what amp class would I be in for comps? Aren't these "cheater" amps? Only rated at 4 ohms for a lower amp class?
  14. If I don't end up trading I have a hifonics brz2400.1d which is rated at 2400 watts at one ohm 2011 model

  17. no my sub is definitely not doing what that video its doing the sub barely moves I turned gain down seems like its fixed it
  18. I set gain with a dmm but I'll turn gain down a bit I'm overpowering its a ss splx 15 rated at 1250 rms I got a hifonics brz2400 on it
  19. Is it normal for the sub to get warm in the middle of the dust cap?
  20. What model hifonics? You were probably getting more clean power from the rf. Set your gains with a dmm to help from clipping and to get clean power from hifonics idk what you mean by paralled internally. Its a mono amp so its bridged internally if that's what you mean
  21. Great seller item in great condition like explained in original box and all, great communication fast shipping with tracking number
