When you tint the windows, just darken the a little bit with "Control U", then go to the curves and bring up the white a little and it will look realistic Body kit looks good though! EDIT: and the lowering -

So I'm a little new to fruity loops, but this is one of my first songs, Now I don't have a setup in my room,.. I just used headphones.. So I'm pretty sure I over did the bass like crazy... Sooo it's probably clipped and what not.. So don't full tilt this on an expensive system.. But just let me know how it sounds! I'm trying to get better. Thanks! EDIT: Oh yea, make sure you do 1080p! Also one other song: 1080p it as well!

Internet Question
TLEJ replied to Daddy_'s topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
What games do you play? If it's one where it's loading maps off a server, rather than the HD.. Then you're screwed.. Most maps are around a GB to load. But just connecting to servers, and sending in commands, not so bad. Did you mean online like Xbox Live? -
Yep, both popped out when connected to the battery... I tried closing up my back seat, and they seem to be louder.. I put a plastic bag in the port, and it mainly is getting sucked in rather than floating there. Idk if that's normal. I know they're not bottoming out or anything, they just sound... funny. They are pretty loud, and are that panel under the back window that connects to the top of the back seats pretty well.. But that's about it, it's just barley vibrating my rear view mirror. I checked my amps, and they're set up perfect, besides a little bit lower gain to break them in.. Maybe they need to just be broken in? Idk how much the difference in sound is.. Or if I'm just use to having 2 15's.. I don't want this to be a vs. thread or anything but, 2 15" Kicker CVR's in a sealed box, about 1.2 cubes per sub, or 2 lvl 3 12"s in a ported box, 3 cubes.. Idk was expecting the 12"s to be a little louder?

Can you explain where you got the LPF number from? just wondering how it's calculated The low pass filter allows frequencies LOWer than the setting (hence low-pass) to get through, while blocking everything above that frequency. Where you set it is mostly personal preference, in a complex install you would tune it to achieve flat frequency response, so the high end cuts off right about where your mids or mid-bass take over. As a basic way to set it, keep it right in the range he suggested. If you have mid-bass or large range mids, then go to about 60hz. As for the sub sonic filter, the basics are that when using a ported enclosure, if your subs play a frequency that is below the box's tune, the box no longer cushions the sub, and it turns into a free-air situation, which will cause the sub to over extend and bottom out. Ideally, set your subsonic filter right at the tune of your box, if your eyeballing it, go just above the tune to be safe, so if you have a 32hz box, set the subsonic at 32hz or just above it. As for the low output, first off, did you compensate for material thickness when making your measurements and cuts? if you used 3/4 inch MDF, but didn't compensate for that thickness when making the measurements, your box could be 1.5 inches too small in every dimension. Also, check to see if it's a phasing issue by disconnecting one sub woofer and see if the out put improves. I believe someone said that already... If it does, check your wiring. Also make sure your gain is set correctly, i'm sure you've done that already though. **Edit did you seal the box with silicone? even if you wood glued the joints, it's always good to go over it again with silicone or a similar sealant, and painting the box with a poly urethane sealant, or latex paint can help seal the MDF itself to prevent microscopic leaks through pores in the material. That usually only matters at higher SPL... Great post, helped alot. And yes I calculated for the wood and sub displacement. Got it right at 3cubes after displacement, and each sub calls for 1.5. (Tuned to 33). It's wrapped in wood glue, siliconed on the inside, and I'm starting to put primer all on the outside, it's sealed off pretty well. I'm about to go out and check the phasing issue now that it's light out.

It's possible it could be a phase issue.. but would they be moving oppositely? Like one going in, while the other is going out? And well my subsonic is around 30 I believe, (Need to double check when I have some light), and Frequency Response: 10Hz ~ 30Khz +/- 0.5dB Variable high pass (50Hz-500Hz & 500Hz-5KHz) Variable low pass (50Hz-500Hz & 500Hz-5KHz) Don't know if that helps at all EDIT: and Can you explain where you got the LPF number from? just wondering how it's calculated

Nope, it's not that. Is it because my box doesn't have 2 chambers separating the subs? I mean, they can get loud, but only on weird notes in songs.. Maybe my tuning is just WAY off? .. I mean, I built it JUST like it says, but something is just off.. I tried turning the box all different ways, and it pretty much sounds the same no matter which way it's facing. (Unlike my 15s that sound like NOTHING if they're facing me compared to being spun around backwards)
-
So I built my first box, and when measuring it with a tape measure, it's to perfect specs from Torrez's calc. It's tuned to about 33hz... Here's the build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/97119-dc-audio-honda-accord-build/page__p__1344538__hl__Audio%20Accord%20build__fromsearch__1entry1344538 Now my problem is.. I have my amps down low now because these 2 12's are still being broken in., .. (I might need to mess with my subsonic? idk.. idek what that is. It only goes to 50hz (I think), but my box is tuned to 33.. so I don't get this stuff.. The problem is like.. The subs are moving, and they just aren't really creating bass.. the box is all sealed off (besides the port..).. Maybe I'm just use to my 2 15 kicker cvrs? Should I try stuffing the box a little? I built it to what DC said. I just don't really know what I'm doing.

SO like this then? And I have no clue. Take a look for yourself: http://www.woofersetc.com/p6789/Q-6001-Image-Dynamics-1Channel-600-Watt-Amplifier.htm EDIT: And I mean, I had these 2 amps pushing 2 15's in the same box. Never gave a problem that I noticed. -

Sorry I missed your prev. post, then edited it in. EDIT: And I have no clue what strapping/daisy chaining/etc. is.. Combing them to make one big amp? I don't think so unless that's more efficient or something. I was setting the gains separately with a DMM. I already set them though from my previous setup. -

Just keep practicing.. Everyone starts out looking like this at one point. -
So today I finally figured out why my Kodak PlaySport would mystically have a dead battery randomly on certain days.. Kind of. I usually take my headphones off and set them around objects so they don't slide of the table. For the past week, that random object has been my camera. I have a few fleece like hoodies I wear that generate alot of static.. Today I went to turn on my TV, and right when I hit the power button on the tv (not even turning it on yet), I heard a little static, and saw my Kodak light up and cut on. (It's not plugged in to anything as you can see, just inside of the headphones, which are plugged into my laptop, which is plugged into the same outlet as my TV. Anyways, I can repeat the process, every once in a while, but yea. inb4CSB

Turns out the sub cost around $40.. It's def in the 170db range. (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=15%22+Boss+Audio+Phantom+Series+Sub&cid=9376633262159325850&os=sellers#)
