  1. ok thanks! i might as well buy a new car...... LOL i checked for a used transmission and i could only find one for $1000.... what a sad day
  2. Wow.... this sucks LOL =) Ill keep the fluid in there just in case. The metal bits are VERY VERY tiny. But ill check the fluid again and see if there were really metal bits, maybe it was my finger
  3. Hey everyone! I have a 1993 Toyota Camry 2.2L with v6 engine and recently i just checked the transmission fluid. Its all black, burnt smelling, and has little metal specs in there.... Also the transmission has been making a grinding sound when shifting into the next gear. And after 5 minutes of driving, it has the smell of burnt transmission fluid? The car has 290km on it and it has never been changed... Its and second hand car. Should i do a ATF flush? Or should i take it to a Toyota dealership? Please help!
  4. depends on what your stock alt is? But yes ill get the audioque 1200d =)
  5. Both amps are underrated. But this is my opinion Sundown= Only if you have the money. Better quality (you get what you pay for) Audioque= If your on a budget. Best bang for buck it also depends on your electrical system. Get the Sundown 1500 if you have a good electrical system because it used more amps I would get the Audioque if your on a budget, and have a weaker electrical system (The 1200d only needs 120 amps) But I would get the Sundown If you want more power, have the cash, and have a good electrical system ( The Sundown 1500 needs 160 amps) Thats aN IMO
  6. Exact sub im getting! Gonna get a fi bl 15" with an AudioQue 1200D. I'm gettin the Audioq because its cheap and has a crazy inside If money is no concern get the sundown 1500d
  7. x2 Get your dmm and check the ohm load of the speaker. If you have a 2ohm sub that is not blown , the dmm should read somewhere around 2ohm. If it is blown then the reading will be jumping all over the place.
  8. Ok you have a 145 amp alternator.... You will need to upgrade to maybe a 200 amp alternator depending on the amp. If you running over 5000 rms then you need to upgrade =) I will upgrade the alternator first =) then maybe another battery then the subs and amps =)
  9. What hummer? lol also what subs and amps are you going to use for the new setup (sorry for the late reply)
  10. lol. It wont make the current setup louder, it will just help with the dimming and voltage drop. And just what are you thinking of upgrading to(subwoofers and amps) And what is your current amperage of your alternator?
  11. i would upgrade your electrical system because if your gonna do a new setup (more subs=more power) your gonna have to eventually upgrade your electrical system. So i would upgrade your electrical system, then get a new setup =) IMO
  12. ill get a sundown amp because they are underrated. So you will probably get more power than what the estimated power is. Also this amp has good THD (i think this means clean power, no chipped or distorted signals) but if your tight on money ill get the Audioque =) also as mentioned above, you will need to upgrade your electrical system. This is not cheap... so maybe Audioque amps Maybe flip a coin Heads=sundown tails=AudioQue both are really good amps! IMO rockford amps cost toooooo much......
  13. you can tune it to anything...... the other people already said it, its all about personal preference .. but most boxes ive seen are tunes around 28Hz-34Hz I would keep the box tune to 32hz =)
  14. Sup everyone! im just wondering if this will work! Say if i have an i pod touch 3g 8gb and i want internet? what is i buy a USB network adaptor, a USB female to female adaptor will it work?????? (dont know how to insert a pic) 1.Connect the iPod cable (the one that connects to your ipod and computer) into your ipod touch 2.Connect the end of the iPod cable to the adapter 3.Then get the Usb wireless adapter and connect it to the other end of the usb adaptor This is for boosting the range Thanks!
  15. Ok i think i get this right so....... when the engine is cold, it goes to a higher rpm and when the engine is warm it goes to a lower rpm. It might be an exhaust leak somewhere in your system or it might be your throttle body. It might be dirty. I think you should watch this guys vid ------> I hope this helped
  16. i dont think your car would shut off because then i will go on battery power, so it will last about 1-15 min depending on your battery. Also, it will damage your amp =)
  17. Hey everyone! this is like my 6th post and i want your opinion about this subwoofer. Its a Fi BL 15" dual 2 ohm fully loaded. Is this a good subwoofer? I will be using an Audioque 1200d amplifier. Is this a good combination? And im sorry if i posted this in the wrong section or anything =) THANKS!
  18. Ok thanks! i will check around and see what i can find =) thanks for the help!
  19. Ok thanks! how much does a 0 gauge wiring kit cost?
  20. thanks! i was hoping people said 4 gauge! Only because it's cheaper =) but i might get 1/0 gauge wire for upgrading the big 3 =)
  21. WOW! Such fast reply's! Thanks for the help! now i understand 240amp linked! Also, is this amp good for a fi bl 15"? THANKS!
  22. Hey everyone! Im new to this forum(as you can tell i have 0 posts =) ) and i already have a few questions. Im going to be getting a Audioque aq1200D amplifier. For the wiring, should i get 1/0 gauge wire or 4 gauge wire? And it says that it has 3x40 amp fuses (linked with 240) what does "linked with 240" mean? Also for the fuse holder in the wiring, should i get a 120amp fuse holder or a 240 amp fuse holder? THANKS!
