was wondering if you guys made a dual alt kit for the 5.7l Hemi for a dodge Magnum yet.

i have a dc power 270xp in my hemi mag and my voltage starts at 15.0 and after about 30 minutes of runtime it goes down to about 14.6. i can say that alt helped alot, but has not fixed my voltage problems completly. if i beat the heck out of my system with the rf t2500.1 the voltage has a problem with staying up at mid 14's and my lights still dim(guess i will look into a dual alt kit or just switch to hid lights)

yes they are a good and they do rated power just dont ask for much over rated

Looking to buy a good quality 5K rms at 1 or 2 ohm that are effiecient and of very good quality. what do you say i should go with

just wondering if you have to do something different to set up mono block amp with o-scope depending on ohm load or gain is not affected by ohm load

so would a sa-8 be good enough for a spl setup or would you get two and how much would you throw to it wattage wise to get the most out of it without torching it

yeah if you read down the forum you would relize that sa-8 is always going in and out of stock, and this would give me a way to play around with a new sub for a great price from a great company. and alot of the video is in a crx where space is not that big of deal compared to a single cab truck, but would be open to any ideals besides cab through

looking to do a spl setup in my single cab truck and wondered if a E8v.2 would be great for a single cab truck setup. i would get a dual 2 ohm sub with a 1000 watt at 1 ohm powerbass amp. if not what would be a good one

so if i buy the 599 alt and send in mine it will use the same housing as my stock alt and will fit exactly the same as factory one

i am glad you said that Kranny that 4 gauge is good to about 1500wrms because one of the best amp companies out there has a 1500-1bdcp and guess what inputs it has. not trying to be an ahole just thought it was a interesting topic to bring up.i am not worried about it i will do what most people do and just cut down my 0gauge wire or just use 4 gauge. just dont understand why everyone talks about running 0gauge wire all the way back just to put a piece of 4 gauge on the end of it. just thought in a game of overkill that we call car audio how hard would it be to throw a set of 0gauge inputs because we all know that you will have better voltage which would be better for their expensive amps

so i guess what you guys are saying is that it is a marketing ploy by wire companies and that there is no real advantage to running 0gauge if the amp has 4 gauge inputs. wonder how amp companies test there amps to see what they put out? wonder if they use 4 gauge to say test a p1000-1 amp?

with so many companies saying that anything over 1000 watts needs 0 gauge wire, why do so many companies (including fosgate) give 4 gauge power and ground inputs?

just like most shops if they dont sell it then it is crap

so i guess it depends on who you ask and thanks for recommendations
