a year ago i had my brothers re audio Se 10 and his box was tuned at 28hz abd bever had aby problems... but he says that DD are for more spl than SQ, so that their tuning is around 32-40hz... so...in my inexperience in building a box - which i actually never built one - i think i would tune it just around 35hz....

ok thanks, apreciate all the information...would at 35hz do lows? its just because most of the time i listen to old school rap or Bigpimpins or some Decaf songs...so i want to hear the low notes..thats all and i ordered the DD3512 i think an hour ago...

5 cubes is plenty for that dd3512, maybe even a little too much. 3.5 cubes would be pretty good for a 12" i thought about tuning the box between 32-36hz

well around 5ft^3 is the max measurement for my build box.. and my trunk space is around 16ft^3

yeah ok ...but i usually listen t oslowed and chopped n screwed music, anyway the music with low tuned bass soo....i want to listen to low hz tones but also with mid-high tones + i want loudness

well i get this post is over....no i need to find a hertz tune for my DD 3512 box... i need to hit the deepest lows and the mid highs 40-36HZ tune box will do the job??

what about a RE XXX?? can it take the same power as teh 3512? ah forget what i said....i cant wait to get my sub in a couple of days

itll go as low as your box will let it. i wouldnt tune it lower than 30hz though, that might even be too low, because all other tones above it will sound like shit. i wahted to tune the box around 36hz

yeah i know but i have only that much power.....and there is no aftermarket alternators for my cruze

i just called my buddy....he hooked me up with a price of 250euros(around 280$) for a brand new DD 3512

yeah i just got a call and my friends friend got a DD in his car...i ll go check how it sounds does it go down low, i mean really down low with the notes the DD??

i had re before and it sound realy good for a SQ sub... but i want an more spl sub

well the alpine and the RE would be in pair, but DD would be a single sub option

First of all HEALLOOO to evryone!!! So..here is the first thing::: in the old car i had an RE audio Se, which i sold it with teh car and i miss it...but time had changed and From December 2010 i am a proud owner of a new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze and i am in desperate need of BASS so here is the second thing::: in the old car i had an RE audio Se, which i sold it with teh car and i miss it...but time had changed i have a couple of choices to buy a couple or a single subwoofer - the fact is i want 12˝only so these are the subs i wanna buy:(those two would be in a pair) *Re Audio Se *Alpine Type R .............. and here is the other thing...a friend of mine offered me an DD 3512(single sub), and since i heard DDs before i will love them to try one + bu i like deep and crispy bass... so which sub of the alpine type R, RE Se, and DD 3512 would be the best choice for my system?? PS: the Amplifier is a Ground Zero GZTA 1.1200MKII which is rated at 1450Wrms at 1ohm and 900wrms at 2 ohms

i agree but you can upgrade a mustang if you wish for a good car audio system... if i would have a chance to buy a car again i would buy a mustang..but i chose a cruze...

h should get some honda acord or civic... meybe even a Chevy....

the Z3 will give you pain in you baCK... my pops used to have an Z3 but lately sold it couse of the small space and hard seats.. in you are looking in Z3 why dont you buy an M3?? M3 has more powa and moar space... so inthat case you can have both speed and a nice system..
