  1. I'm just trying to see if I could get one cheaper. (Really Tight Budget, but don't want to skip out on quality)
  2. I'm looking for two Audioque 2200D. Unfortunately I'm going to have to buy one at a time (tight budget), unless the price is right. Let me know what you have or where I can get one for a good price. Almost forgot location Cobalt, Onatio P0J1C0 Canada
  3. Do what I'm doing and stuff as many 8s in a single cab truck as you can! I want to see the finished product!
  4. I find with the Walmart kits you get "engine" noise. I don't recommend it. All tho the speaker wire there isn't that bad. As For RCA's just don't go with the cheapest one. Buy one with a little "beefiness".
  5. I received a response yesterday. I got a quote. Just a little under $400 for a shop pack of Pro. Cobalt, Onatio P0J1C0 Canada
  6. I have, I'm still waiting for a response. It's been about a little over a week now.
  7. I live in northern Ontario and the only place that sells Second Skin near me is 6 hours away. The other thing I'm unable to get a hold of them to see if they could ship me some. So, what I'm asking is does any one know where I could get some?
  8. Competition or daily use? mostly daily... maybe a few local competitions...
  9. What will be charging that battery? a 270 amp from MechMan... hopefully.
  10. Which batteries would I need to run 2 - Audioque 2200D. They would be on a separate system from the normal vehicle.
  11. Alright, I have it! 20 square inch port measuring 31.4" long, tuned at 32Hz. In making the port longer I now have room for a battery bank. Also I can put the amps in the original position I wanted. I would just like to thank every one who helped me.
  12. But your still saying big is better, because I can get a 20 square inch square port in. It's tight but it fits.
  13. did the calculations and the round port is way to long to fit.
  14. I don't have much room to play with. The program I'm using says I need a 45" long 6" round port or a 25" long square 16 square inch port. I'm going to see if I can maybe squeeze the round one in but not likely.
  15. I was told once to do 12-16 square. The 16-20 square and 14-18 round does sounds better. The only down side to doing 2 - 4" round is I don't have the room.
  16. Ok I've been working on this design for a while and have now found one that works. It's built for 12" Xl's with a Audioque 2200D for each sub, running around 2000 RMS each. Each box is 1.5^ft after displacement as recommended by the DC website. 4" round port tuned at 32hz. A little more info: - It was designed to fit in a 1994 Mazda B3000. - The ports are external do to the space restrictions in my truck. - The reason for the odd shape, again space restrictions in my truck. - The "feet" under each box is for support. There is a little step against the back wall of the cab. What do you think?
  17. Let us know how it turnes out. I'm going to be making one my self soon.
  18. Looks like that one also has the high level inputs, so you are still good to go Sweet, that means I can install the sub right away.
  19. Turns out the amp I have is the Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel - 1 (I got it broken). It's not the perfect combination but it was free.
  20. Can you explain? I haven't looked at my amp for months and I haven't looked at the car at all yet. Did a little research and came up with. "Attach" another wire to one set of the speaker wires and then connect it to the high level impute on the amp.
