  1. dude i wasn't selling , i was suggesting an amp.. FFS, so go whack yourself in the head
  2. its a power acoustik just like the one i got, i was thinking of getting another one.. so i wanted to check out the current flow... i'm stunned... irritated.. lol
  3. what about 1200 @ 4 ohms?? same price range
  4. i just don't quite understand how 647 watts can sound really good compared to my 1300 or so watts...it seems as if he could turn the damn thing up even more and bang em harder and louder..
  5. then explain to me how is it possible this amp ( which is a monoblock) putting out 647 watts and bang the shit out of his kickers cvx's with little power??? its a 2200 watt rms rated at 1 ohm... why is it not putting out like 1500 which is what the subs are rated at rms together.. i'm so damn confused....
  6. What the heck is CA glue i've been seeing this all over the threads.. mind telling me what CA stands for?? unless its cement adhesive (cement glue)??
  7. Correct me if i'm wrong or not, i was checking out a guys amp, did some DMM readings, playing some test tones at 50 hz subs were wired down to 1 ohm 13.2 volts 49 acv by this calculation its only putting out 647 watts per sub or both subs together i'm lost on this... any help would be appreciated...by the way i don't have a clamp meter... so i'm doing a rough est...
  8. lol glad i could help on the resin calculation part... its all about math i'm studying engineering so it rhymes with my study skills lol
  9. i have one that used but it does 1700 @ 2 ohms and 2200 @ 1 ohm
  10. i have like 10 feet left out of mine
  11. i have a shuriken sbt-80 which is the same as a kin 1800 i need to upgrade mine to a bigger battery
  12. ok to account for resin, if you got a 5 gallon buck of resin, then do the gallon to cu ft conversion or just measure the can itself ... (the inside of it of course) thats your displacement for the resin
  13. well make sure if you decide to run only 2 subs wire it down to 2 ohms and find a amp that will do 1000 rms @ 2 ohm stable better than wiring it down to .5 ohm which is overkill, so alpine would be better for you, unless you go with the kicker amp since they're already at 2 ohm as well
  14. lol kranny someone should slap you for not reading the entire thread lol
  15. thats why i said just for him to go to traders village and get that new surround on it it won't hurt a damn thing i've seen plenty of subs dented scratched torn, but still plays when it gets repaired
  16. well then just keep 2 12's and sell the new one you just got
  17. just say 375 is my final offer lol, i bet he'll go for it then
  18. you don't have to play at full power just enough to where you can see that it moves up and down
  19. but if you're goin to leave the set up that way then just move the new sub to the middle but if you want to leave the new one at the end then rewire it
  20. ok here's something to think about try putting the new sub in the middle of that pack, and see what she does then, and wire them in series parallel to get a 1.3 ohm load instead of 3 ohm load more power...
