yea ive sent 1 of my 220s back 3 times. now one of my 280s took a shit and i just pulled them out today. im going with dom cause when his product works it works. i talked to him last nite( through texts) and he is kool with me,said he will rewind for free. yea hes mia for most but i guess im the lucky one. i cant afford new alternators at this moment, and im preety sure the rewind to 220s will help me in the lanes. thanx bro

underlok what amperage iraggi did you have and how much of a difference is it now? im thinkn of doing the same thing.

THey are the same style as steves just 280s they have the 4pin oval connecctor. what would be output at idle? im pretty sure they are cs130s

I couldnt demo very long and i picked a song that had intermitent bass so the complaints would go down. but it didnt work, plus i didnt know he was shooting a vid till after. check out the new vids. and the song was B-legit where is this going.

ive been doin car stereo since 1986 and installed thousands of systems,over the last 20+ years i met kingsuv at a meca event and he is like me a car audio enthuseiest( not a hater).I built 3 different boxes for my 2 sub install but it wasnt enough.( the bass)i wanted more.so i asked bill if he could help me out and told him what i wanted ( interchangeable port,below seat, and 6-8 inches off the rear doors)he said he would hook it up and he did. now mind you if everyone could build a box and hit 154s the first time then they would be doing it.like i said ive been doing installs for a long time but i dont know it all, and dont act like i do. car audio improves and changes rapidlly. bill has alot more experience on what works and what doesnt, and was kool enough to share that with me. my system isnt perfect but i built it and im proud of it. oh and more vids where shot today and will be up soon. to all you non believers, and haters without you us true installers would be unknown thank you!

3- 1.4 subs puts you at 2.8 when wired in series thendivide that by 3 you get.933 that is the ohm load at amp then when you strapp them they see half of that so .46 as long as you have electrical you should be fine, i have my ddm4s at .35 and they play music all day but they will protect at 30hz and below if im railing on it. cause my imped drops when the box unloads all its air at least thats my theory

In fact that was only the 2nd time i ever burped it. i was being cautious cuz i blew 3 lvl 5s in 3weeks just a couple months ago, so i didnt want to blow one before the show. i can say though the xls work way better for me, and im going to tune with the spl port when i get back from vacation,and do some tweeks to squeeze some more dbs.

I have a 220 and 2 280s iraggi alternators. im happy with the 220 somewhat. but the 280s suck yhey have no output at idle. i want the most output at idle for burps and demos. what can you offer me as a solution and how much? ill probably send you one at a time or both 280s. im not rich so a reasonable price and im there thanks

hmmm so if i use say a d925 with 20ah thats all i need for this system? xs does a wattage chart and usually the more ah the more power. thats why i said the 3100 at 117ah is comparable to the kinectic2400 122ah. i dont care how long i can play my music with the car off i want the amperage when my amps ask for it. thats just me tho

FIrst of all just cause they both say 2400 doesnt mean they are the same the xs3100 is more like the kinectic in ah rating and thats what i use. ive heard some horror stories about kinectic. had a 2400 and gave it back it didnt hold a charge

Going on vacation monday for a week to aptos. thats at the ocean for all you out of staters. anyways when i get back im going to put my spl port in and do some testing on the tl. i want to clamp amps and check imped rise.my goal is 155+ FOR THE NEXT SHOW I GOT A FEW THINGS IM GOING TO DO SUCH AS ADD 4-5 more 0g runs front to back that brings the total to 10 runs. also just got off the phone earlier with rusty(he called me back. what boss does that? and hes busy as fuck) anyways im officially a TEAM DC MEMBER yea baby! and im going to rep hard. theres some AA woofer ass im gunning for lol.Thanks again rusty.

I understand were you are coming from if you are like me i get use to it very fast. ive changed my setup 7-8 times this year alone from kicker hifonics dd to dc. if you get your box right on then you can play with alternators,batteries, vcms,wire bussbars, deadening,then highend soeakers amps etc. its neverending believe me. i thought i would never be happy but once you star hitting low 154s like i am its enough for daily. to be honest i cant roll around with my shit full tilt. it makes me see double, and gives me a migraine after 20 min. and ive been in some loud cars.i usually have my bass knob down and enjopy my highs. as far as port up thats your only option. have you thought about going with 3 woofers? bet it would be louder than 4, and you could do rear port

Just curious shoot me your dimensions max width, depth and height. from your back seat to tailgate whats the distance? i dont see how you will have enough room to do subs up port up. where you putting the port? you have to have min 37 38 to fit the 18s im at 38 with 6-7 inches from my back doors.also any pics you could post of your install would be helpful.

text doms cellphone i just got ahold of him a few days ago. and his 220 is a great alternator. works awesome for me and cheaper than dc and mechman. plus any color you want.

DO big 3 wire up the 3400s and check drop when you rail it if it stays in 12s your fine for now, if not go with high output alternator if you can afford it.

I have $4000 just in my electrical and im still adding, and this is with just 7k. im surprised your sd hasnt smoked. just curious what is you voltage at idle and when you get on it? i bet its close to battery resting voltage huh? 12.6 12.7. whats your amp wired too? also i tried sub up port up with 2 lvl 5s and had ok results. but sub up port back is devastating! kick you in the face bluurr my vision uglyness.the big 3 cant cost that much, do it asap then work on your electrical. you need it. good luck bro. and i bet you could do a 150+ with the xls.
