Well I got this Error code=0x45d Wimaapplyimage can not apply image request could not be done cause of I/O devise error Then said something about disc then contact devise manufacturer. So I don't know what all that means except call acer tomorrow. Thanks again guys for the help you gave. Forgot when it is loading windows on the start up screen it flashes to blue then restarts again constant loop. Not good.

Yes sir. She has a external hard drive to use but got lazy. Yea Google chrome has been far better for my browser thanks to the advise from the guys on here. I have a subscription for webroot. I will get a disk from them for sure and make sure the other ones are backed up. Mine is daily.

How do all the computer repair and builders have the patience for this. So freaking slow I may be too impatient lol.

I have learned so much crap with computers I actually amaze myself my old brain didn't short circuit lol. I had webroot but it was removed from her lap top it's been good for me so far. Only if it's on the computer.

Ok so the restore to a earlier time won't do no good then. I have recovery management to restore to factory settings. And system image recovery under it says recover your computer useing system image you created. Apologize for being so ignorant.

Yes it has start up repair,system restore,sys image restore,win memory diag,command promt and recovery management. First time I've seen this screen. Sorry for the spelling.

Thank you sir. I didn't know you can use two hard drives in a lap top. I was shutting down the lap top when system repair came up. It's at a screen that says recovery tool what would I choose or shut it down? I forgot I have windows 7 just in case it matters.

I didn't get the chance to put the combofix on her's. I tried the f8 yet just safe mode and safe mode with networking. Even restore didn't do any good it would stop before it was done. If we can save the info that would be great. No sir she just told she hasn't done a back up in 3 months.

I will probably have to do that. I don't have safe mode at all. I just hope we can save her info. The only shop around here is 40 miles from me lol.

Well its saying windows detected a problem and is being shut down for protection. The beautiful blue screen.

That don't sound good. Yes sir it did come with Mcaffee trial. I thought I got rid of it but it don't look like it. Whats the explorer.exe mean it comes up and I close it. It restarts the screen. explorer.exe is yours windows UI, taskbar and such, it is programmed to reboot when killed EDIT: Btw, mcaffee is like the clap, its REALLY hard to get rid of lol lol

I'm not asking for free repair just ideas. I am trying to get into safe mode all I get is safe mode in all the corners and microsoft build service pack 1 at the top nothing else. This is the first time of having any problems.

My daughters Acer aspire lap top has started acting up. This is what it says Mcagent.exe application error The instruction at 0x000007FEF7B47A82 referance memory at 0x000007fef1be2b70. The required data was not placed into memory because of I/O error status 0xc000009d. Closed that and went to run webroot then the same thing type of screen popped up with different numbers and topic. explorer.exe 0x000000007770357B 0x000007FEFACA100C 0xcooooo9d. I can't run a virus scan and what little I've seen my virus and malware protection has been removed plus some other programs. Please help if you can.
