  1. Same thing I tell every one! Pioneer hu infinity reference speakers and type r 2 ohm subs. Or kickers I guess some website is having a deal on them
  2. Use foam it won't make a big difference imo An I would use great stuff it's easier to clean off if you were to sell.
  3. Yup great stuff works good or caulk is a lil cleaner but can be messy and is more permanent and maybe others would say no but I would have no issue using 1/2 if your crunched on money other wise 3/4... And theoretically IMO you should sound deaden it.
  4. The cab sealed off from the trunk is the only way to go if your going to face the sub twords you. I would agree
  5. I agree it's just like my truck it's 50% louder with my windows down cause the frequency of my cab is different then my box.
  6. If I'm correct you would not usually want to direct the subs towards you. And as far as the trunk I think it's because your box is tuned at a certain hrz and your vehicle space is tuned differently so it is a different tone until you open your trunk then it changes your tune again. Not sure how to fix it. Maybe a diff box tuned differently if I understand it right
  7. You don't ground RCA's that should never be an issue. I think your deck is screwed up and there could be a way to fix it but I would doubt it. I'd say if you got the time and money go buy a pioneer deck and through it in and return it if it does it still. Which I doubt it will
  8. Kranny has a point but this happened to me before and my subsonic filter was a lil high(the him noise) and my RCA coming from the deck was broken so I needed a new deck. I tried a relay on my remote wire and it did not work. And I also true grounding in multiple places, but always popped I came to the conclusion the deck was f*****
  9. Your sub sonic filter possibly is set to high on your amp. Or RCA from deck is bad
  10. If it don't work there's only so many things it could be. IMO it will work or it won't if the amp works in a different car then it could be a number of things but it's a process you gotta do
  11. Try it in a different vehicle bro if you can then you forsure know.
  12. thats happened to me before and it was the amp... it was broken or something and i got just a squeek of sound out of the subs, but i wouldnt give up on trying... I've also had the subs not work at all cause my rca outputs were screwed up coming out of the HU
  13. Ahh alright was this all done with the Same boxes and power do you know?
  14. Alright kool kool if you get around to that skittles let me know how it works plzz . And as far as subs is there factual info that xl's or lvl5's or mayhems are better then btl's or is it all opinion.
  15. My intensions aren't to be different, nor am I trying o be like eeryome else goi with fi's I know I want 18's and we all know they bang hard. An that's all I know. As far as other subs I'm open. I'm not set on fi btl's I jut know they quake
  16. I just was thinkig maybe the more power to the subs the better but with 2 more btl's there shit Ton more cone area soo I'm looking for f@$king loud Would I get by with 1 battery in back for each 3kw amp and say a 270 amp alt in front?
  17. Hey, quick And possibly dumb question. 2 fi btl's 18 full options daily use powered by saz4500 for each sub or... 4 fi btl's 18 with a crescendo 3kw per sub. Any input is great! Thanks, austin
  18. Hey i have a 2004 F350 and it tows like magic although i have been considering buying a 00-04 Excursion 4x4 but i want to be able to tow the same... I would like to do bags( so i can make it lower if i want ...) if there is such a thing that will be strong enough to pull around 12,000 pounds and id say 1,500 Tongue weight. I have also herd of people combining things like, putting sway bars, straight line bars and upgraded shocks to accomplish more lbs in towing. Last thing i would like to do a nice set of rims, what would be the point that a rim would be to big for towing. Thanks, Austin
