  1. We gotta keep Steve motivated He is going to gain more soon I am sure of it... all it will take is more electrical.
  2. Better hurry up Steve, my new coils shipped yesterday!
  3. Watch the classified sections on caraudio.com (primarily) and here (I list some items here too).
  4. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/warranty.html Need to update for the 4500D as the rates only go up to 3000D... but you can get a replacement 4500D even if you ran at 1/2 ohm for ~100 bucks.
  5. With a good box you would be in the 150s with two 2000s and eight SA-12s. Quite loud.
  6. Eight Dual-4 subs will wire to 1 ohm -- 1/2 per amp Running at 1/2 it is pushing it. I'd suggest two 2000s running 1/2 ohm.
  7. If you have the amps at 1/2 each that is pushing it a bit -- Derrick has that much on his but it is on the high end for them.
  8. This worked well for me : 2" x 3" angle @ 1/4" thick http://www.discountsteel.com/index.cfm/go/...y/itemID/59.htm Pretty inexpensive too. Used two other pieces to hold the batteries in at the front
  9. Just use bigger aluminum... it will come out cheaper than smaller copper.
  10. FS: Rockford POWER 1501db Older Model - $350 OBO This amp has been tested to work properly here on my test bench. There is NO further warranty expressed or implied beyond that it will work when you receive it. You have FIVE DAYS to test it once receiving it. If you do not have the capability to test within five days DO NOT BUY IT. No exceptions. If you don't agree to these terms do not even ask about buying this amp. --- Unusually good condition 1501bd amplifier. Has end caps AND remote. ONE speaker screw is getting a little stripped but still tightened down on the test bench. Just be careful with it and it will not present a problem.
  11. Yep, they are expensive... the DSP is the coolest part, though : http://www.focal-america.com/extras/specs/...tor_Spec_US.pdf
  12. Number 1 is the "LE" Version. $2000 OBO. Number 2 is the "Regular" Version. $1800 OBO. --- Both are in very good shape. I am going to find out if they are still under warranty... they came from a local dealer here nearby. The Regular model also comes with the remote but it is not new in the wrapping, the owner had used it. I am still trying to figure out why the LE is different... but I am told it is somehow better. More information : http://www.woofersetc.com/p4484/FP-Dual-Mo...r-Amplifier.htm -- $2400 here for the "Regular" Model
  13. This line is rated 600 RMS -- users are putting more than that on them.
  14. The 12" weighs about 26 lbs... so it is pretty beefy. 10s will be a little less than 12s and 15s a bit more than 12s... 12s are 249 MSRP / 189 typical street price
