  1. We can do that - but you will need to send your trade in along w/ the payment during the pre-sale to qualify for it. So you will be without whatever amp you send in for a while.
  2. Hate to hear that Rob - but at least it will be perfect
  3. If you do blow the amp (power supply): http://www.sundownaudio.com/warranty.html If you are under warranty / the amp is in excellent condition you can still pay $30 to get a replacement. "1) If your amplifier has a blown power supply or damage from excessive vibration there will be a charge for a warranty replacement within the 2-year policy: * SAZ-1500D and smaller amplifiers (or any future model under 2000 watts) - $30 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $15) * SAZ-2000D and SAZ-3000D (or any future model 2000 - 3000 watts) - $50 in the continental USA (AK and HI add $20)"
  4. Pre-Order will end February 20th.
  5. I might rate it the same @ 4 ohms as the 3000D to avoid any controversy... we'll see. I am trying to reflect what a customer would expect at a 4 ohm reactive load instead of just a resistive 4 ohm load - if you wire a big high current Class-D to a 4 ohm nominal load and then with typical musical impedance you are seeing 8 or more ohms half the time... you don't get much power. When I had two 3000Ds strapped onto an 8 ohm load (4 ohms each) the most power I could get after rise was 1800 watts on 16v!
  6. This amp can still run with a single 1/0 - and as was mentioned it maintains our current case width. Anything larger will have dual 1/0 inputs.

  8. 750 x 1 @ 4 ohms 1750 x 1 @ 2 ohms 3500 x 1 @ 1 ohm This is what we are thinking (pending).

  11. Okay guys... here it is. If you order between NOW and the end of February... $825 for one $815 for two (each) $800 for four or more (each) If you order any time from March 1st until they arrive... $850 for one $825 for two (each) $810 for four or more (each) Paypal me at [email protected] to Pre-Order! The current ETA is around May 11th to May 20th -- this is a rough estimate. As always, with a pre-order the ETA is subject to change based on shipping delays, etc, etc. We are expecting around 3800 on a 12v electrical system from these and over 6000 on a 16v electrical system They feature 33% more output FETs than the current 3000D... a quad transformer setup (more efficient)... and solid core wire output inductors (more reliable)... among other minor changes we made to enhance reliability. These will have the "new style" SAZ casing and the width is the same as the current SAZ amps. It is around 2.6" longer than the current SAZ-3000D.

  16. That is going to be awesome!
  17. Haha... thanks guys, I bet my PM box will be full now. We are not yet working on a 7.5k
  18. Calm down guys, these are 2-3 months out *laughs*
  19. I'm not releasing all the information just yet Price will not be much more than the current 3000D.
  20. I fixed the picture in Post #4... it is the layout.
  21. Probably not - as long as the 1500D keeps selling well it will stick around.
  22. It replaces the SAZ-3000D in the line.
  23. This one has 33% more output FETs than the SAZ-3000D. We moved to a quad transformer setup and the output inductors will be of the solid core variety. We implemented a few other things that we picked up along that way that could have used improving on the SAZ-3000D as well (boring stuff).
