    Then one 3000D will be less strain.

    At what impedance will you be running the amp(s) ?

    2000Lade has it pretty well down - the 4kw is a bigger and more powerful amp and is generally more expensive, especially new. So pick em out based on budget I'd say. The 3000D is more than enough for your BTL.

    PS: My starting DCR was more like 0.2875 so that is close to a "0.35 nominal" load than a 1/2 ohm load - it is quite low. My rise is still nearly 3x the DCR.
