    Guess I didn't mention what I'm planning over here 1) Extra 5mm coil height 2) Extra 10mm magnet height (for x-mech) 3) Moving back plate vent holes closer to pole Thats about it... number 2 is to get more x-mech, number 1 is so that the coil can't jump the gap forward with the increased x-mech.

    Not yet. I started production on the v.2 prototype after posting this thread. I am almost 100% sure it will be everything I want but I still must test it first.

    I finally did get a 225-amp alternator on it - but the old crusty alternator still works and I'm saving it

    Unless we made the box smaller I don't think more power is an option - they get moving! But I do think in a half decent box six to eight of them would do a 150 in the Jeep. This box is literally 1/2" MDF with no bracing... only brad nailed and glued together. Brandon needs his rear seat for the time being and wanted some bass in the back so it was a quick toss-in.
