  1. I am working on the X line still, but from a different angle. I like them but they didn't quite meet my goals T/S wise.
  2. For those that don't know... this is like getting a picture of Big Foot. Brandon is actually working!
  3. Everyone please be nice so I don't have to close the thread A simple congrats on the purchase is always good
  4. Mooresville address is my mailing address for US Mail. Our warehouse is in Troutman and we usually do not have visitors for security purposes.
  5. Awesome Looking forward to hearing the final score!
  6. I'm sure his setup is more than a box sitting in the back of an SUV too
  7. Got another call this morning - apparently by tomorrow they meant tomorrow from today (10-9-08) *laughs* So... hopefully I get them tomorrow this time
  8. I bought out all of the QC failed SI BM 10s (old models) and re-built them with several changes: 1) Slightly longer flat-wound coil (original was round wire) - USA made coils 2) Narrower / Taller Surround 3) Tied down tinsel leads Measured T/S Specs (coils in series): RE: 6.89 ohms Z: 8 ohms Fs: 27.2 Hz Qes: 0.56 Qms: 3.32 Qts: 0.48 Le: 2.8 mH Vas: 31.1 L BL: 16.2 NA Mms: 124 grams Power: 400 watts RMS 0.95 ft^3 SEALED BOX - F3 of 41 Hz 1.5 ft^3 ported tuned to 30 - 35 Hz for high output I have about 40 of these... $125 shipped in the continental USA for one $240 shipped in the continental USA for two $440 shipped in the continental USA for four Ask about more than that! These are blow-out items and sold with no warranty beyond a no DOA guarantee. I can built re-cones for them for a while as I did get about 25 sets of extra parts! They are pretty tough with a 2.5" diameter flat coil, though Nice sounding drivers.
  9. They will do ~1500 @ 1 ohm actual power, so yes, they would push BLs nicely.
  10. I believe he likes his amp and is sharing that with us.
  11. Just got a call... these *may* be here tomorrow.

If they are strapped the master remote controls both. If they are not strapped you can use a telephone cord y-splitter and hook one remote to two amps. You can even control four amps (two strapped pairs) this way
  13. Indeed... averages 90 days for me to receive product from the time I place my order - SAX / SAZ lines (and current SAE-1000D) are from South Korea. Only the new SAE-1200D and future SAE models come from China - lead time is about the same.
  14. I really like this design - I think it will make a great addition to the line A pair with a 1500D or 2000D will be a great combo for MANY folks.
  15. You need to hear the beast on music - pretty surprising Really kicks you in the face on rock music - remind me to demo Buck Cherry or something next time.
  16. Oh yah... for those that missed the other thread. Did two back to back bass-race runs on the sub over the weekend with all four 1500s @ the burp volume Video of one of the runs:
  17. * Coil still looks mint condition * Triple joint and tinsels leads also looking brand new. Brandon got a little carried away with the spider glue, will be much neater in production.
  18. Still working hard on getting it to market, though, it is not forgotten!
  19. Yep, it is being looked into - proto has been built and tested for some time. Unfortunately it is impossible to get loans right now so it is delayed.
