  1. $60 + shipping each regardless of quantity Need to make room in the warehouse so price is 1/2 what I was originally asking. --- I bought out all of the QC failed SI BM 10s (old models) and re-built them with several changes: 1) Slightly longer flat-wound coil (original was round wire) - USA made coils 2) Narrower / Taller Surround 3) Tied down tinsel leads Measured T/S Specs (coils in series): RE: 6.89 ohms Z: 8 ohms Fs: 27.2 Hz Qes: 0.56 Qms: 3.32 Qts: 0.48 Le: 2.8 mH Vas: 31.1 L BL: 16.2 NA Mms: 124 grams Power: 400 watts RMS 0.95 ft^3 SEALED BOX - F3 of 41 Hz 1.5 ft^3 ported tuned to 30 - 35 Hz for high output I have about 40 of these... These are blow-out items and sold with no warranty beyond a no DOA guarantee. I can built re-cones for them for a while as I did get about 25 sets of extra parts! They are pretty tough with a 2.5" diameter flat coil, though. Nice sounding drivers.

  6. Get some 1500s if that is what you want That is why the 1500Ds cost more -- they will handle stuff these wont.
  7. No. These do not replace the SAZ-1500D. These amps do not have strapping, will not run over 15v, and were not made with the intent to run under 1 ohm. For a customer running 1 ohm on a 12v system these are an excellent amp.

  13. It kind of sounds like the one sub was out of phase... did you notice it moving less than the other ?
  14. I have a board that I believe to be equal to the new Audiopipe AP1800 model... as it is built just like the AP1500 but with two extra output FETs - I tested it vs. the SAE-1200D: For the sake of this test I just turned everything wide open just to see when they quit making power. THD was not a factor at all, just wide open. Obviously this is not the ideal situation -- I may send them to Chris so he can use some of his equipment to do a test using a scope as well. The amps are fed with a 4 awg and 8 awg wire in parallel reduced to 8 awg so it will fit both amps (the 1800 won't fit our 4 awg lead directly as it is tinned). Test load consists of two Nightshade 12s wire to 1 ohm and the tone is 60 Hz. ----- * SAE-1200D on the bench http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/1800-watt...0D/CIMG2617.MOV * Power Test http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/1800-watt...0D/CIMG2618.MOV * Output Voltage Test 1730 watts 59 V 29.3 A (calculated) 2.01 ohms (calculated) 12.68v power supply ----- 12x Power Supply Fets 10x Output FETs (AP1500 has The two caps = a little more capacity than the four in the AP1500D. These are 4700 each and the AP1500D has 4x 2200. * 1800-watt on the bench http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/1800-watt...0D/CIMG2621.MOV * Power Test http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/1800-watt...0D/CIMG2622.MOV * Output Voltage Test 1440 watts 57.1 V 25.21 A (calculated) 2.2 ohms (calculated) 13.1v power supply ----- SAE-1200D produced ~20% more power... and this 1800 has an extra 2 output FETs above the AP1500D. An SPL test may be more revealing... I may see if the 1800 will stay on in the Jeep at 1/2 nominal -- my rise is to just above 1 ohm.
  15. Two of these will eat up an AP 3000.
