yeah i was looking at the soundstream one but it doesnt have the clip light. and i think that would help me alot. but do you think i should look into a better product or would this be worth it to help my sub amp and my sub?

I could be wrong but active you run your tweeters and mids off of a amp and passive is running them off the crossover just to the amp.

in my mustang i had sub/port back, i did sub up port to the driver side and what seems to be the loudest so far is sub up port to the passenger side. but i never metered them thats just to the ear soo cant be specific. and sealing off is a pain wiht a 12 i was going to attempt it but i didnt do it

what do you mean remote switch. the remote turn on or the remote gain/ level. LIke the remote wire i put a switch in between it

hahahaha i know! like everything still works it just gets kinda hot. and you mean you havent worked with this sub? yeah i think ima keep it how it is now im pretty sure ill be very happy with it put my subsonic filter at about 28ish i think it could handle it

ohhh okk i gotcha man yeah right now i have my box tuned to about 37hz and it seems to play strong from like 35ish to 40 then kinda dies it was my first box build haha so now i have some experience build about 5 now. and you wouldnt happen to know about my remote switch would you? its one of those ones that lights up blue

Thanks haha yeah i know i could but like i said i love the lows just want to be able to play a lil higher in the hz range but still play lows strong if that makes sense. Kinda like a strong 32 to 45 hz range instead of just a strong 32 to 35 ish hz range. understand? haha im kinda confusing my self now

First one just wondering but my remote switch gets pretty darn hot, and i was wondering why this happens? Second one is a box questions. I plan to rebuild a box for my sub (in my sig). I am also planning on putting 1000wrms to it. I love lows, but i also wondered if i tune low like 32hz how is it possible to have a wide range with it still being ported? Say like it will play to 40 hz or 45hz just as strong as 32hz. Such as bigger port volume or port area per foot. I know sealed box but im not going to do that. Heres what i got planned now... Sub up port to the right. I also was going to do 2 .75 inch on the top for the sub. Thanks for the help guys.
