I did the semi flat finishing coat today. I did 2 coats in 30 minute intervals and it looked great untill I put the pieces bunched up together in a towell. When I took a closer look I noticed they scratched and had imperfections just from touching other letters. To fix this, would I just wetsand the imperfections out and then put another semi flat coat on and then maybe a clear coat to stop scratching so easily?

It does ok but the box is tuned around the 40z so not as well as my box, which is 33hz and running the same set up.

2 L-hinges on each little 6x9 box, which weighs about 2 pounds a piece, they definitely are not moving my man.

My friends 97 Ford Taurus station wagon, factory purple. Running one of my sundown 1500 amps on his 15'' BL till he gets his own amp. It sounds pretty good.

This is one set of logos primed up ready to be finished with krylon semi flat tomorrow (hope it will stay on strong?) The back logo shaved off, I might leave it off and just do the right and left ones black.

Any idea on what kind of primer and finish I should use? and wet sand the primer?

Since its not true chrome and its chrome plated plastic I don't think they are able to be powder coated.

So I shaved off my "Escalade" logos today and I am prepping them tonight for tomorrows spray of primer. I want them black, and they are currently chrome, but I have a couple questions. First I clean them, then I sand, then I spray primer, and finishing coat? I did this process on one little letter to see the outcome, and it looked terrible, I think it was the cheap paint that advanced auto recommended to me, it left a almost texture like finish. If not the paint, then I did something wrong. Anyways just some tips on what to do or what type of paint to use would be cool, thanks.

They've treated me well but its time to move on to the papa sundown amps. saz3000's here we come.

One sub has been receiving 1500 watts from a sundown daily for about 1 and a half months, still in excellent shape, other has just recently been replaced by Scott (overnighted me a brand new fresh sub since one magnet cracked in half) so it has about 5 minutes of play time on it. D2 coils, fully loaded, in perfect condition, no scratches/anything. Only problem is the daily one has recently been seeing tinsel slap and a small wear on the spider is beginning to form. Doesn't affect performance. I'm selling both for $280.00 a piece and whatever shipping is. Here are some pics. Will take more pictures tomorrow, just cell pics for now.

I have 2 sundown saz1500's both in great shape one with minor scratches on one corner. Both are 100% functional and put out a shit ton of power. I am selling each for 330+shipping a piece or trading for a sundown saz3000(would prefer to trade). Send me a tell if your interested thanks. Could it be the connections were soldered with the wrong type of solder? Or solder is the same no matter what right? Thats the last thing I can think of that would cause resistance at the battery and up front. I did take off all the washers and just put the fuse with the two lock nuts and tightened it down real good and I have had no problems... Yet.
