Today at the Skar Audio HQ we put in action the first production model ZVX-12 *V2* that we had sent via air before the main shipment arrives this April 5th (only a few short weeks away)... This build log below shows the start to finish process of an enclosure we built in house for this new 12" woofer and is followed by a live testing video. The ZVXv2 subwoofers have not been announced in much detail but are on the same shipment as the highly anticipated ZVX-8 Subwoofers that will also be arriving April 5th. Still rated at a conservative 1500 Watts RMS, many improvements have been made to an already extremely strong and high power woofer. The V2 ZVX Subwoofers will come in the existing 12"/15"/18" models as previously made, and will still be offered in Dual 1 Ohm and Dual 2 Ohm Coil Configurations. Due to the high demand of the new woofer line, these are not available for pre-order but with their arrival soon you can visit our website for more information on how to purchase them. With the other 8" woofers we offer, compared to the VVX-8v3 and what each woofer offers, these are more of a low-end response monster and daily driver...They sound great and are very responsive. The ZVX-8 might be a better option for someone looking for an SPL oriented 8" woofer.

Update : The ZVX-8's are en route and will be shipping to customers within 30 days from today at the latest, but most likely 25-28 days at this point. Pre-Order demand has been higher on this model then any other pre-order we have offered, which is really excitiing! This 8" woofer has been long in the works and we are happy to finally almost have them in stock! I have (1 PCS) VVX-12v1 D4 Used in good condition that is in stock, the rest are v2. I'm interested in the 12 v1 D4 if you have it still Unfortunately that was sold last week, sorry for not updating the original post. Things have been crazy here! We still have a good few amps left though and IVX/VVXv2 woofers!

They are designed to perform on the low frequencies better than the MA-8s, which are more oriented for SPL performance.

We have been working on the ZVX-8 for more than 9 months now and have finally just about wrapped up production as I write this on January 22nd, 2014.
