  1. Knowing XS power it'll probably be $1500+. They already have lithium batteries for racing that are $1000 a pop.
  2. Most of my car is done in FatMat and XXX. I used a heat gun when putting it on, like I do with any deadener, and I've yet to have any issues. The problem with FatMat is that when it's cold or even room temperature it won't stick. However if you warm it up and then put it on it'll never come off. That's my experience at least. Oh, and I've never had an issue with it smelling after being applied. Again that's just my experience.
  3. I don't have an SA basket or else I would have done that. The bolt pattern should be the same, my main question is to achieve the same hight as a 12 spoke, will I need the cooling ring or not?
  4. First off let me say I know there are no vs threads, but I think this is okay. All I would like to know is, what's the difference between a standard 12 inch 12 spoke basket and an SA 12 basket? I only ask because I have a pair of RE SX motors that i will be rebuilding soon and I'd like to use SA 12 baskets. Will they fit? Will I need the cooling ring? Will the FI recone made for an SX 12 fit an SA 12 basket? It'd be simply for looks, but I'd appreciate some help!
  5. Just wanted to say how pleased I am with your 1/0. Not only is it super flexible but the color is awesome. Sure its a little low on strand count compared to other brands, but it does the job great for me. Keep it up Skar!!!
  6. They can go below MAP because they buy bulk and have minimal overhead. When it costs less to run your business you can charge less for what you sell.
  7. I completely agree whoever you talked to shouldn't have lied. And I find it rediculous that the owner couldn't come over and talk to you in person. I was just trying to give some insight as to why online brands cost more at brick and mortar stores.
  8. I work at an audio shop, and after multiple inquires to sundown, there is hardly any mark up on their products. I can understand the frustration of being told one thing and then another a short time later. But at the end of the day the shop has to make money. Selling those subs to you for 220 a piece before tax probably would have made the shop 40 bucks a woofer. Where as say selling a Rockford t1 for 400 just made the shop 200 bucks. It's all in how companies mark up their product that determines how much a shop can charge.
  9. Mb quart discontinued the amp, not sonic. I doubt that specific one will ever be in stock again.
