Try pulling an all nighter and having a 14 hour shift that night. And hanging drywall hard? Only problem I've ever had hangin dwall is when were doing the ceiling and don't have a dwall lift. -
250hz and lower? Can you please not post on things you dont know. Subs play SUBSONIC frequencies. Most people set theyre LPF @ 80 hz. Midbass is responsible for the 60ish-250ish range. Subs can also play down to well below 25 hz depending on what you are looking for. Hell, most HT setups play down to 10-15 hz.

Sound dampening will help with vibrations, but flex not so much. Most rattles from civics are the plastic panels, especially the rear deck. Sound dampening/weather stripping will remedy that. Measure the opening of the trunk to see what will fit. See how tall/wide/deep the box will fit. Using cardboard will work wonders to model as a box.

Well you need to measure what can either fit in the trunk through the opening, or be ready to build into the trunk. Its a pain in the ass to build in the trunk, but you can utilize a ton more space. I have a 98 civic 4 dr, and I think mines a tad bigger than yours...you should be able to fit 2 12s in there though. As for subs...a sub will play whatever you tell it to, even the stuff it shouldnt. What hz range it can play is more based on the box and how you build it/design it vs what subs you put in the box. SQ is sound quality, which is alot more than just sounding clean. Focus on the design and what you can fit comfortably over a poor design.

2010 Outback Lv5 10's
tonedeaf replied to Meathead's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
WOAH. Neo 15s >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> lvl 5 10s. OM NOM NOM NOM. Your car fucking hates you. -
Its a 4th order...except instead of sealed compartments, each sub has its own ported 'enclosure' that ports into the port of the whole 6th order. Atleast thats my understanding. Although this thing looks WAY small with WAY too little port...or is it just me? I mean, thats a decent amount of power...but just looks tiny. Especially the individual ported sections... Although theres different versions. Like one where each 'wall' of subs on each side (like a wedge style like: / \) have one single port for all subs on that wall.

Low Idle Voltage, But Little Voltage Drop
tonedeaf replied to OrionStang's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
True. Getting it flashed professionally by a shop should let you adjust it, as it can adjust idle for example and so many other things...but im not positive. Supposedly mechman is working on a fix for the issue though that will be P&P IIRC. -

Your mustang is controlled by the PCU I think, the computer tells it how high to charge. Only way I believe you can fix it is getting your computer flashed and it set higher, as I dont believe a VCM changes the problem since it doesnt bypass the computer. -
Some people like sexy, other people like useless lights and flashing leds and shit. Theres clean and theres busy. Some people like busy.

It does, but bed of my chevy > like there is no tomorrow IMO. Sunshine babies, another good one off his new album.

nothing will be at 18 volts highest is 16 volts i will have a volt regulator to make sure 16v batteries charge at 19.2ish FYI...so you DONT want 16v batts. 12v batts charge at about 14.8-15.2ish. 14v charge at 17ish. Some run 14v batteries and charge at 15.8ish, but that requires you to have to charge the batteries up atleast once a month. Alts dont charge batteries up, they just feed them power if that makes sense. Charging a battery extremely low can shorten its life by a lot.
-
DC 12ks are not 18v stable. They dont like more than 15.8 volts. So if you want to stick with the 12k, you'd have to go with either D1400s charging @ 15.8 or D3100s. Id probably stick with the D3100s. 3-5 of those plus the alts would be plenty. I think the max amperage draw of the 12k is around 1100 amps? If so, your alts would almost keep up with that. (though the more batts you have the less your alts will have to work.

Happy? Aye. His new CD is killer. Bed of my chevy is probably one of the best recent country songs in a while, Craig's 'Fish' is also damn good. As is Church's Homeboy. Been a good time for country music the last 6 months.

Didnt meade fit 2 6.5s/tweets/and 8" shallow mounts in his front doors in the civic? Those doors are smaller than yours. Plenty of room if you know how to glass. As ray said though, im not into rear fill.
