Just so you know i have a DC Audio Lvl 4 XL 10 in a T-line enclosure receiving 1000 watts all day everyday and its sick loud and musical as F**k its very fast and has tight response with killer output i am thoroughly impressed with the T-line box.

What kind of numbers would you say you have to be able to generate to do a hairtrick? I have always wondered how much air you have to move inside the car to get one done? Do you think that my setup doing a 152 is enough to move hair? Also the last thing is are there any tips or tricks of the trade to channel the airflow to the front of the car to be able to do one.

Im looking for either a used or new Alpine 701 Sound Processor with a controller. If anyone has one or can help me find a place to get one for a decent price please let me know.

Hey guys thanks for all the valuable input. I am going to go with a DAT 2500.1 for juice for the sub. It will be a bit b4 i make any system changes though. I just lost my job about a week ago so money is an issue right now. But for all those that are curious the 10 is in a form fitted T-line and its already loud as Fawk.Soon as i can get my video/picture camera fixed i will post up some pics and of the build and some of the test and tune vids. I had the sub do a 152.2 at the headrest while testing it on a TL mic which is insane, it did a 154.5 under the dash so im hopin that the 50's will be a common place when i get the new amp since it will be giving it almost double the clean power. HA HA HA Let the games begin.

James is telling me to run a DAT 2500.1 to my 10. That does around 3k at 14 volts. I know that for doing competitions it has handled a Memphis 4kw in the lane so im hoping that it wont be overpowering it too much.

I am wondering what would be the best amp to pair up with this 10? Right now i have a PG amp that is supplying about 1000 watts to it and its sounds nice i just want to know if i should throw it more power? Its in a T-line enclosure so i mean it is pounding hard it just really sounds like it wants more power to eat. Im stuck between a couple of amps. 1. Mtx 91002 for 600 from a close personal friend 2. Sundown 3000 3. Kicker Zx2500.1 4. Crunch GP 3000 I just want something that is going to do clean-rated power at 14 volts and also not break me while trying to do it.

I am pretty sure that you will be thoroughly impressed with the setup.Fi makes a great sub and the sundown 3000 amp is a beefy monster of an amp. I would feel comfortable in saying that you will be louder because you are working with much better equipment.You will be loud and sound good doing it as long as you have a nice install good wiring and a good box

Hey, Im trying to find a 5 channel amplifier but i only know of 2 brands that make them Memphis and Alpine. Specifically if someone could find me a 5 channel amp that does 1500 or more watts on the sub channel that would be greatly appreciated. I have plans to run a DC Lvl 4 xl 10 off the amp so i would like to find a nice 5 channel amp so i can run my whole system off of it and free up some trunk space

Ok Now i have a new mix to throw into the systems. OF the 3 setups im bout to list which do you all think would be the loudest? Fi btl 12 fully loaded on a sundown 3000d dc lvl 4 with lvl 5 parts on 3000d nightshade 12 on a 3000d

i have a few more options to throw into the mix of system setups Im considering running all of the mentioned systems off of a Sundown 3000d(excluding the Mtx) What about doing a DC Lvl 4 12 with lvl 5 softparts? What about Fi btl 12 fully loaded? What about the Nightshade 12? What about my current 9500 15? Of all the afformentioned which do you think will be the most Spl/Musical combo in my 96 Honda Accord Ex trunk car?

I have an Mtx 9500 15" dual 4 ohm VC sub in a slot port enclosure powered by 1000 watts daily. Im looking into getting a Single Nightshade 12" dual 1ohm VC and putting it in a T-line enclosure. Of the 2 systems which setup do you think would be louder in my Honda Accord trunk Car

A good amp would be like a Kicker Zx 2500.1 or Mtx TA92001(my preference),Rf t4k, Sundown 3000 there is quite a wide variety. What kind of power do you need to run yours (RMS) then we will have a better idea on where to guide you.

Hey, i Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has given me the valued input i was looking for. I am going to shoot for mid to high 140's since that will be more within reason with the equipment im using right now. Once i get my hatchback i see a 150 comin with ease. I have a CRX in the works here shortly. My main goal is to reach mid 140's but still stay in my S2 class in Meca because i am trying to beat one of my teammates that has been edging me out since my good buddy Pat got me onto the team. The most aggravating part is she does not crush me she only gets me by tenths of a DB every time so im hopin the upgrades im bout to make will give me the extra boost i need to walk on her. I just want to be able to walk away from a show in 1st place instead of always attaining 2nd to her.I will say just to clarify this is all going to be done in a friendly competitive manner like always our team always has the friendly BSing going on after its all said and done.

Im wondering if a 150 is reachable or at the least i would like to get into the High 140's in my car with my single 15" Mtx 9500 Subwoofer,Mtx 91002 Amplifier,High Output Alternator and custom slot port enclosure. All the rest of my extra goodies are listed in my signature. Right now i only have an Audio Enhancers slotport enclosure and a Phoenix Gold Octane 15.0:1 Amplifier as my equipment. The Mtx Amp and custom Slot Port are in the very new future.

Hey, My daughter Sirenety Michelle Shifflett was born on Friday June 20 2008 at 12:18 in the afternoon. Im so excited to finally be a father. I can not get over how beautiful she turned out to be she is the spittin image of my fiancee. She was 6lbs10 oz and let me tell you that girl has me wrapped already. Yea i just looked at the T15001bd the MSRP on that bish is 899 so that is not in my 620 price range. Any other suggestions??
