Hey Guys, Lil Wayne is not the best by any means. Im not taking anything away from him he is good but not the best. Specially when we got heavy hitters out there like JadaKiss,Styles P,Juvenile,Ludacris and cant forget bout Eminem etc and especially all my dirty South Texas Niggas like Ugk pimp c trae z-ro,big pokey dj screw lil flip im not goin to list em all but the fact of the matter is Lil Wayne holds no candle to any of the boys i spoke of i think.He is a good rapper and all and he puts out some shit that is real hot and then other shit thats like WTF. but anyway thats all i had to say on the subject

My Personal Opinion I would go with 2 Mtx 9500 15's i can speak from personal ownership that my 9500 is wicked. Run 1000-1500 watts to them daily and im pretty sure you will be thoroughly happy. I am not taking anything away from Fi or RF i just dont have any experience im just giving you my .02 on subs from my personal experience but im sure what ever choice you make as long as you have enough power,right box and amps you will be happy.

Hey , I just wanted to take some time to thank Steve Meade for creating such an awesome site. I can come here and ask an audio question and have it answered in a short period of time. I want to thank everyone that has taken time to try and answer all my questions to the best of their knowledge. I have also made some friends on here which is also very nice. Like i said i just wanted to take the time to show my gratitude to all the people on here that are willing to help others. Im in no way a newbie to that audio scene but i will say i still have much to learn and will probably always be learning. Hey, I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for all the support you have shown to me and my friends family i printed out the pages of posts you guys left on the topic i started to show his family. He was laid to rest today in Fairfax at a private cemetery. I must say that it was nice knowing that he is resting peacefully and honorably now. He was x-military so they gave the 21 gun salute and all and it was quite a sight. The best part of all is that the criminal responsible for the death of my friend was caught last night due to the fact that someone recognized the dogs as he was walking them and called to report it and he was arrested on the spot. So once again thanks to everyone that showed they cared it meant alot to all of us dealing with the loss of my close friend

Hey , I went over to my best friends house of 20 years and found him dead this morning. No one knows why it happened or even what happened he was found with gunshot wounds to his head and chest but the weird thing is, is that the cops said there was no signs of a b&e so the only logical thing that makes sense now is that either he left his door unlocked or the criminal he executed him is really good at what he does. Also the perp. stole all his jewelry, money and his 2 dachsunds that he had. If everyone would please just keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers it would be tremedously appreciated. The Internet Explorer will come up and load and everything but the only portion of the pages that will appear is the Text none of the pictures links or anything else on the page will become accessible. Has anyone ever dealt with this before and if you have i would love any technical support or tips that anyone can offer me to fix this problem thanks.

Hey, Can anyone give me an updated list of hard hittin songs out there please. I would really like some new jams that are not all played out. I want some tunes to slam in the car that are newer releases. Any help from anyone will be appreciated. Also can someone give me the names of Jon Young's album or albums depending on how many he has out thanks.

I love the hell out of mine granted its a 15 but even the 12's are nasty a couple of people i chill with have the 9500 12's. Btw i like the vids man they are nice

To BassinyoFace, 1st off im not a fag in any way shape or form.I dont know what your tendencies are but i dont swing that way. I would consider myself a GP b/c my boys can hear me pulling into their neighborhood and they live in far back corner and they say they can feel it when i come down their street.

Hey, With what i have in my car could i be considered a GP. I have an Eclipse AVN 5500 head-unit feeding signal to a Phoenix Gold Octane 15.0:1.The amp then feeds 1000 watts to a single Mtx 9500 15" 4ohm DVC subwoofer sittin in an Audio Enhancers slot port enclosure. Right now the sub and port are firing straight into the trunk lid because the enclosure is to tall. With that said i still do anywhere from a 138-141 at the headrest on the TL. Yea we measure at the headrest in the MECA circuit now no more under the dash.

It is 3.33 net cu. ft. and 3.98 total cu. ft. If you go on the Audio enhancers website its the TX 400 series box the dimensions are good on it. I just need the height of the box a lil shorter i need it to be 17" or less as far as being able to fit it in my car properly.

Its not in the sledgehammer enclosure its in an Audio enhancers Slot Port and i mean i love the box and everything but its just to tall it wont fit in there so i can fire the sub and port back right now the sub and port are shooting straight into the trunk lid and im sure that is hurting my spl scores some

Any of you guys run or like Mtx products ? Have any of you heard what a 9500 15 can do ? If so let me know what you think/thought bout it.

Yea i have my rear deck and my trunk door is done but i guess the rest of the trunk could be done as well i used hush mat to do my stuff i love that S##T it works great plus i got 12 boxes of it for free from my buddy who owns a shop and he had some guy come in and purchase the boxes but never came to pick them up once they arrived

Hey everyone i need someone to help me. I have a system in my car which is posted as part of my signature so i dont have to explain all the details. I want to know is there anyway i can gain a db or 2 with what i have. Is there any box design that will be louder than the Slot Port that i have now? Also if i was to get a box that fits better would firing the port backward make a difference or what direction should i fire the sub and the port. My amp does 1000 RMS. If anyone can get a hold of Steve Meade and ask him what kind of amp his buddy cory had running his 2 MTX 9515's that would be greatly appreciated as well. hey, Man if it was me i would use at least 4 gauge or bigger b/c its going to allow alot more power to free flow meaning the sub wont strain tryin to get power and also its going to cut down on the work for the amp havin to push power.So i would say 4gauge or bigger

No i cant wait to find out whether its a boy or girl im stoked like i said i know its going to put a damper on completing my car build but its worth it in the end.BTW if anyone of you guys could help me and suggest the best design for a box for my sub its an MTX 9515 4ohm DVC. Its in a 1996 Honda Accord Ex 4 door sedan right now. Its in a slot ported enclosure but if you guys know any better setups let me know. I want the type of box and a cut sheet for the box if you could help me with that and also which way to face the port and sub. THX

Im going to be a dad come May/June sometime in that vicinity we dont have an exact due date yet but im stoked.It is going to take away from play time with my vehicle but believe i will make time at work to play with my vehicle as far as tweaking and tuning it to get it ready for the new season.

I will trade my loaded dual 12 " Mtx Sledgehammer setup to anyone that is looking to get rid of an amp that pushes at least a clean 2000 Rms. I really dont care what kind the amp is as long as it sends clean signals not dirty. I have a 1996 Accord Ex 4 door sedan. I want to know what would be the best box to build for my Mtx 9500 15" Subwoofer in the trunk. Right now i have it in a Slot Port that i ordered from Audio Enhancers and its loud but its facing up b/c the box is to tall to slide into the trunk. Should i just get another slot ported box built that will fit the right way or are there any boxes that would get louder. As a side note im powering the sub with a Phoenix Gold Octane 15.0:1 amplifier. Any suggestions you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Also any tips i could get to increase SPL Period would be helpful i need all the tips i can get for when i go to competitions.
