dont think that one extra batt would kill ur alt, but if u do get an extra batt try to get one close to the cca's of the one under ur hood NEVER,NEVER PUT A CAP ON UR SYSTEM, HO alt or more batts is all u need, a 200 amp alt and a good batt u should be fine
