How big are your als? I wouldn't do it this way ... say you have (2) 300A alts... if i get what ur saying, this means that (1) run of 1/0 (albeit short) needs to carry 600 amps .... that's not good

3 3100s IMHO is on the low side for daily driving with 10kw.. 2 3100s on my 5k or so watts wasn't enough . dropped from like 15v charging to low low 12s... (at idle)

Hey guys. So my T4k is hooked at a 1 ohm load, and has plenty of voltage to it. For weeks (maybe months) it's been cutting out randomly on songs. Weirdly, it does it MOST when cold, when warm or full tilted it doesn't happen much ... It's not going into protect, and I can't seem to figure out what's gonig on. It makes a very faint sound when it happens, and in a given 2 min song it will happen tens of times, for a short period of time like a couple seconds then cut back on, etc... weird.. once it warms up it doesn't happen though. its so weird

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but in my old GMC Yukon XL the light would go on randomly. My uncle (mechanic) said that there wasn't a problem of it going off randomly, but that if that light is on there is a small chance it WON'T go off when you crash.... just a heads up. i'm not sure if this is the same sitaution or not

well, you want to try to get the biggest you can and can afford. so measure your space up front, and get the biggest, and if you can afford a 3100 for the rear that'd be optimal, if not its ok. example i have 4-5kw Big 3 250A Alt 4 runs 1/0 to rear (2) 3100 in rear and i still get (from 15v) a drop to 12 ish volts...

Yep david, its pretty insane. I have the gain/bass boost at absolutely 0... the bass boost'll get turned up so that its actually insanely loud but the gain will always stay at 0 im waiting on the battery to turn on BB becuase scared of volt drop, dont wanna hurt nothing.. batery might be bought in 2 days lets hope...
