i'm not sure if ill have time to order and get them shipped by sunday (in fact there is now way in hell) would using my things coupled together be really bad? theyre like 5 bucks a pop at the local car store, they are either look gold or silver and im just worried because i hope they aint painted or anything ... i just want a strong electrical connection ... damned 1/0 not long enuf... lol

With my new bass setup my 1/0 wire isn't long enough to run to the back of the trunk. How do I join the 2 runs? If I put terminal rings on each end and just use a screw/nut to join them will this be really inefficient? I have the expensive allen wrench ends, not the crimp/solder ones. I'm thinking I'm losing some connection here... Also, would using another brand of 1/0 along with this one be bad? In the same car I mean.

peripheral makes devices to bypass these, I have one in my car works beautifully. not sure if its only for alpine or not

right....as i was telling David (this build is for my whip) i was thinking if you move the woofer (and whole box, just extend those side trim panels) 2 inches back itll have plenty of room for xmax...not sure though i'm actually gettting the back seat cut out and interior work done .. i'll show pics of course... this thursday hopefully. if i were u i'd wait it should have lots of valuable info in the build thread gl man!

So some of you saw my build thread for the 98 Camry... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=25451 I am about to move on and have David build me a new box, to seal it off from the trunk :) This box is EXCELLENT in every aspect. It is covered in black carpet, for a 15" woofer. Tuned to 34 and it's, I want to say, 3.5 cubes? Some correct me here... But it's resined, 45d, all the good stuff ... a very good box... I'll sell it for half of what I got it for, $120, I think this is very respectable. I would go a little more but since the ports are specifically facing up I'm not sure if it can be used in every application. Reply here or let me kno! I have a few references, either way, I'm 100% HONEST ... let me know if you need more references ....
