  1. straighten the buttons out and then tighten the little screw in the back.
  2. man very tedious work and then having man hands trying to grab those tiny ass screws must feel like an eternity lol. I can speak I deal with my mits everyday Thanks for keeping us informed 916 everyone just anxious but everything will turn out good in the long run
  3. you should see yours soon. I ordered sunday on the 7th. So I'm aiming at seeing mine in the second or third rounds of deleveries.
  4. set it at 15v COLD with lights on, have someone rev your engine to about 2000rpm check voltage with DMM at the front battery. It will come down to safe level of mid 14v as car and the day warms up and goes by.
  5. look for an electrician that has this http://www.fluke.com/Fluke/caen/Clamp-Meters/Fluke-337.htm?PID=70328 good luck.
  6. I would second that about the Crescendo putting out rated at a lover voltage.
  7. Did you ever get a battery charger? needs to have an AGM setting on it and a float mode. You can plug it in and then hook it to say one of the batteries in the back and they will all charge. Is your belt on good? Do you see black build up around alt pulley? you might have a bit of belt slip. the AVBM needs to be set at cold start but you need someone to rev engine up around 2000rpm with lights and AC on. Then while they doing that you need to adjust the AVBM little at a time and use a multimeter at the front battery and every time you turn the little screw on AVBM check voltage at battery until you at 15v cold while engine revved up. once the engine warms up while driving and combined with the weather your voltage should come down to a good charging level.
  8. Average users ain't going to be wiring down that low or even keep voltage up to support that. Don't know if I will get punished for this but its a good read. http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/tutorials-quick-references/88695-box-rise-why-not-worry.html
  9. you can wire your stuff however you like but look into warranty at .5ohm.
  10. more efficient? a bigger box is more efficient, a smaller box has less rise. every sub is different, they all will not like big boxes. you still want to control the cone from bottoming out. The box is very important more than just running at .5ohm and being "done with it"
  11. If your box designer is good and you tell him/her the power your running and car type they can make the box efficient to limit the rise,
  12. Dang that sounds good but what if I never did that to any of the music in itunes?
  13. I would just keep it unless you wamt to make money towards something stronger. You can give type r's about 600rms maybe a little more and it will get down pretty good. Just needs a good box designed for it.
  14. This kinda cool hopefully becacuse I put my order in sunday morning. Maybe this will help buy me some time to get one shipped my way.
  15. Order# 100000203 sharpie please!!! You always been cool in my book, thanks for the heads up.
