  1. the rivets worked better than i thought! So tight and strong...this pod ain't going no-huaware. LOL. I still have more mods to make for the actual speakers and a grill. But this is sorta how it's gonna look. Again, tweets are going up in the sail panels. Not really concerned with those until these pods are finished. This is stressful! But coming out good.
  2. nice clean openings. I was going to just use screws to hold this on, which would have worked good. Then i was thinking i would use small nuts/bolts since i like to do it a little nicer than just screws. But then i looked at how flush the glass platform is on the panel and decided i could use something even nicer. RIVETS.
  3. hell ya!! i need to order some myself! Thanks for the coupon! Second Skin FTW!!!
  4. i have a few changes to make based in what i will see when i attach this to the panel. Stay tuned for more updates!
  5. It looks like a thin layer of MDF but that is just the "stopper" for the 3/4" HDPE slab that is going in there. I may make it a little thinner than 3/4 to make room for a screen. I need to see if i still have clearance once i cut the panel open. I should! The SCHA neo's aren't very deep
  6. i went to the local upholstery supply shop in town and picked up what i call a perfect match! I want to do brown to match the upper colors of the stock panel.
  7. time to do some glassing. I don't have as many photo's as i wish i would have taken, but my hands were messy and i didn't want to get any resin on my phone. There is a LOT of video though which of course will be uploaded soon.
  8. Time to wheel the amp rack to the Yukon! This thing is so heavy duty! DC Audio 7.5k on the bass and 2 90.4's on the highs. Audiocontrol DM810 on the processing some copper extensions so i can easily get the second 2/0 on each terminal.
  9. time to get started with the electrical upgrades! The 3rd XS Power Titan 8 lithium showed up for the front and also we got a 400a Mechman Elite series alternator. I have a few spools of Skyhigh Car Audio 2/0 from my last build so we will wire it all up with that! SMD Fuse blocks and ground distro of course! 9.5lbs vs 48.5lbs.... Lithium FTW!
  10. those are more terminals. You can link these together. If you look i bridged them and they are bolted together
