i use Fed-Ex, i actually think exactly the opposite as you. I too have shipped/received hundreds and hundreds of items but without a single problem. Always seemed fast to me and consistent with the tracking #s. Also seems just about the same price as UPS, which i also use. regardless of my own good luck, this one is the shippers fault not Fed-ex's IMO. Look at the way it was packaged. No way i would ever put a 50+lb sub in that box without a crate.

ok dont get mad when i say this....but how is that a GOOD shipping job for a woofer? where is the crate at? no wood, just foam and cardboard? i could have predicted this outcome.

guys, there is a reason we dont do any tech support in the forums.....i mean if its a simple question and you get your answer, im sure thats ok but i saw FIRST HAND yesterday why they dont like that shit. example. Someone asks for advice about his amps/alternators etc. I personally answered him and so did 5 other people. 10 minutes later he is still asking the same question and bitching that he didnt get a straight answer. VERY annoying. so hang out in chat, have a brew, have a cup of coffee and a cigarette, whatever it is you do......but dont be annoying or they will drop the hammer. We have tons of open forums for you to post your tech questions or your quest for a new sub. thanks!

damn, a spam bot got in....my "question and answer challenge" to log onto the site when you register, is fucking up - so i disabled it. I still have the "captia" thing *sp enabled but i dont think that is working very good.... time to get with Invision and see wtf is up with that!

basicly, people like to complain about the ads. The ads bring in money. Without the ads, i could not afford to run this site. If someone doesnt want to look at them they dont have to, they have an alternative. For $19.99 a year or $1.66 a month, they can be a supporting member, get a few extras, and not look at any google ads. The next two levels up get you a few more perks. I just upgraded the site again and in the process i made a few changes. The supporting members will end up with more perks for sure but the main thing is skipping the ads and being a supporting member, like back in the day. People who chose not to be a supporting member need not worry about paying anything, they can just go about their business as usual. The ads personally dont bother me, i dont think they look bad at all but it does look much better without them. also, FYI: Not all supporting members paid either, some won their status.......and if they won it, it means they did something to benefit the site - like participate in something that was drawing in traffic. In other words, just because you see some gold lettering under a lot of names, doesnt mean i am going to the bank on it.

Ok so i am definitely spoiled rotten these days, i have everything car-audio wise i ever wanted. For some reason though i still think about the amp i always wanted but couldnt afford and there was NO HOPE of EVER affording it (back in the day). I remember seeing my dream amp behind the "glass case" at Paradyme in the early 90's and to this day, it still hasnt been a reality...although it would end up on the shelf i still would love to have one. Name the amp or amps you always WISHED you had but to this day never got one. I have at least a handful but the one that sticks out the most in my mind is this one because it was so stunningly beatiful.......and no offense but Soundstream was "still out of Folsom, CA" if you catch my drift. Yes, this is the Continuum - trust me, i wanted the: Coustic Power Logic 650 (i think thats what it was, the big LONG amp) Rockfod Fosgate Power 1000 Soundstream Class A 10.0 Soundstream MC-500 (real old...hell MC ANYTHING from soundstream) and a few others......but the Continuum still stands out in my mind EDIT: POST PICS!

the world has always been a terrible place....wars and disasters have been happening since the beginning of time. on that note, i feel extremely terrible for those people in Japan. I watched it live and it really REALLY bothered me. But on another note, i didnt see any warships from Japan in our port with supplies when Katrina took out New Orleans. Again, we try to help the world and all they do is spit in our face. That is the entire point of this post. That being said, dont take me wrong, i wish i could do something for those poor suffering people in Japan. I never like to see people suffer.

x2. We armed the bastard. It was our responsibilty to disarm Saddam. But, didn't we arm Qaddaffi too? probably at one point...im not sure. then again, we do stuff for our best interest and sometimes it backfires and then you are forced to do something about it. Just like we liberated Iraq, we are giving them a trained army with weapons and supplies as i type......build them up, make them independent, and then leave. 10 yrs from now when some extremist becomes "president" of Iraq and he hates the west, there is no telling what he will do with what we gave them. Then we will have to go clean house again and start from scratch. If we leave them defensless after we leave then another extreme government will fill the power vacuum and then were really fucked. Maybe we should make devices and weapons with little microchips in them, that they can use when its in our best interest... but if they try to fuck us or our allies, we can shut them down and make them useless with the flip of a switch. If only we could!
