  1. That's what I was thinking. I was actually just looking for a good amp to pair up to an Image Dynamics subwoofer. But all this for the price of a decent amp? Why not? Anyone have any thoughts on 1 cubic foot sealed vs my current 2 cubes ported box?
  2. I believe so. That woofer would usually be $600 by itself. I guess this stuff isn't selling well, but with over 50% savings, I'll try it out.
  3. Guys...I couldn't help myself. I decided I wanted to convert to the SQ realm and as I was browsing for a new amp, I got this hell of a deal from Crutchfield. I want to maximize the performance of this equipment, so I would like some opinions on whether or not I should reuse my current birch box, at 2 cubes tuned to 32 htz, or if I should build a sealed box at 1 cube.
  4. Well this sure has progressed since the last time I saw it. Looks great man, keep up the good work. That basket looks sexy with the powder coating. False floor looks factory too.
  5. Yep I agree. That was the first thing I noticed when I went to his page. He's trying to do that magazine cap nonsense. I guess he also believes in an "assault weapons" ban. What's an assault weapon again? But that horse has been beat plenty already. I have high hopes for people like Sarvis. Although sadly he probably won't make it because too many people are stuck to their blind party loyalties. Edit: He has a very brief statement about his stance on guns, you just have to unbury it.
  6. Governor elections are right around the corner. Finally did some research on our candidates and I feel that Robert Sarvis is a great choice for Virginia. He's a Libertarian candidate and I agree with him on just about everything. Strongly disagree with his policy on abortion. So who are y'all voting for? http://www.robertsarvis.com/home Other candidates: Democrat http://terrymcauliffe.com/ Republican http://www.cuccinelli.com/
  7. The problem is I dont like the factory headlights on these but so far I've seen no one makes aftermarket headlights for this car. Which is really depressing since upgrading is basically what I do for a life...lol Lol that is indeed sad. That's a lot of car for $2500!
  8. Add some fresh headlights into the budget, it really does a lot to freshen up an older car!
  9. If by info, you mean specs then yes. Sundown does. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers/item/sa-series.html If you mean experience, can't help you there. Never messed with them or even heard them in person.
  10. That's clean as hell man, wiring looks proper too. Can't wait till I get a 7.3 Powerstroke when I graduate from the college life. Gonna have some nasty 8's in there...one day...
  11. Yeah man good luck getting enough airspace for those 12's without taking the seats out, which I don't think is a good idea. I would get some beefy 8's, like the SA-8's. There's quite a few companies making comparable 8 inch drivers though so take a look at what's out there. Here's a few things off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed some good ones and some of these are pretty weak, but just an sample of how many options there are. You could always do some Tang Band 6.5's or 8's too. http://dcsoundlab.com/m3-8.html http://soundstream.com/store/car-audio/subwoofers/reference-r3/r3-8.html http://www.soundqubed.com/NEW-Street-Duty-SDC20-8-D4-Subwoofer_p_69.html https://www.skaraudio.com/products/subwoofers/ma-series/ma-8-400-watt-rms-8-subwoofer.html http://www.cadencesound.com/products/S2W8S2.html http://www.ascendantaudio.com/assasin.php http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/p2d4-8
  12. Nice man, I'd like to see you break the 150 mark! The Escape looks sharp, I think it would look sick with a Skyjacker lift and them muddin' tires sitting in the shop. Unless it's FWD, then you might drop it instead.
  13. That would be sick...but think of how high the center of gravity would be. Definitely not super safe, badass nonetheless. Pfft safety...it's all about that lift though. But yeah that might be a concern for his son's first car. Or second technically.
  14. That truck is clean as hell. And it's a Chevy. Can't go wrong there. Your son wouldn't happen to be interested in lifted trucks would he? One 'Hoe sitting low, the other riding high?
