    If all those tips don't help just rip out the center seat and consle and do a regular box with sub and port firing to the rear. It worked well in my friends truck.

    And the 144 was in the kick as apposed to the 139.9 at the headrest, and it still did a 142 at the winshield after I flipped the box so I figured headrest #s would b still over 140.

    Cool bro, got my first satruday also, got 2nd in a meca comp, and got 3rd in another sunday, did 139.9 saturday and flipped my box around and did a 144 sunday off of a single XL12 and a kicker 1500

    I amplanning on running 4 DC XL18s and want to run around 2k rms to each. Let me know what amps you would use in this situation. Need opinions so I can plan more of my electrical to better suit the amps I will use. So far I am torn between sundown, AQ, and DC (when they are available).

    I built another box for my xl12 and I have 2.5 cubes befor displacement with 2 4" aeros and I believe its tuned to around 45hz but I used the calculator on the precision port website and I believe its for internal mounted ports which I have mine external. My car peaks at around 52hz and I was wondering what would be the best for my box tuning when my subs fs is 39 I believe. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    There is a show at elite audio in spartanburg SC on saturday. Its a meca comp, and I was wondering if anybody from the forum is gonna b there to compete/demo?

    Well I personally think DC has some of the best customer service also. If I call and don't get an answer and leave a message they always respond and I had a custom dustcap made and the paint bubble and Rusty sent me another in a matter of days because they aren't about no bs at DC. I personally give them an 11 out of 10 on service. And Rusty and Anna are just nice people to talk to which goes along way with me.

    Oh and as far as the frame goes you can do 2X4s and make a box to slide in so you can do most of the work outside of the van and then just screw to the frame and seal off the edge from there

    Well those sound like pretty good numbers to look forward to since I am new to meca and am sittin around 138.2 off a single 12 in a trunk car.

    If I wall it I am gonna do some sort of clamshell so that I could fit the 18s and have enough port area. I also am not driving the jeep, just got it to put a system in.

    What meter did you hit a 153.5 on with 2 cvr 12s, and damn I was only hopin to join the 150 club with the setup I was thinkin about with 4 18s lol.

    Hey I acquired a 95 cherokee and I want some serious bass in that sumbish. I was thinkin bout 4 DC 18XLs on two 3K watt amps. I am gonna upgrade the electrical of course, probably dual HO alts and around 4 batts. Just shoot me some suggestions on what u would do for a serious setup for under $5K lol. Shoot me some box design ideas that work well in suvs, and I was thinking bout walling it so all opinions welcomed thanks.

    Well I am gonna build an spl box, this box sounds sweet on sum lows, definately showed up bigger systems and out flexed cars puttin up bigger #s lol

    Well I got it metered today and it hit 138.5 on the TL which I was hoping for a 140 but trunk #s don't come easy lol
