so i thought if i were to run 2 12's on a 1500rms amp 0 gauge was the way to go, but this guy at an audio shop tells me different. he said if i plan on only uprading the battery i should run 4 gauge because my alt doesnt have enough power to push thru that wire.....what are your gus thoughts?

thats how i feel. granted i have heard that SA is good but alpine has been around for a VERY long time.

are you sriously comparing the sa 12's to the alpine type arrgghh? well yeah...here in miami FL, NOBODY! knows what sundown audio is or FI or dc...etc thats why i asked because yeah i can do all the research i want but the best info is from ppl, not comparing specs. thats just M/O

you get what you pay for man, i would save more money...chances are youre going to abuse these speakers so in my opinion save it.

well i wanted to buy 2 sa15's on maybe an AQ2200 or a crescendo 3k...but i didnt want to do a dual battery setup so i was planning on buying an xs2700 or a 3100...what do you think?

well i know some ppl at this auto shop near by, i could get something like an xspower almost free of charge...if i were to get one of those will that due?

will a stock alternator at 110amps support a 2500watt amp?

its not the remote wire, i removed my remote because im selling this sub and amp.

to be honest i have no idea... i just started learning about car audio not to long ago so bear with me. the amp is a t1k and what im looking at are some rca's some 4 gauge and the little wire that runs from the amp to right under the steering wheel...which i didnt know had another set of fuses. its like the fuse box you have in an ordinary engine bay ( btw i've been studying for finals for about 13hrs now so if my spelling is off its due to a lack of sleep =/ )

i had a system installed by a shop about 6 months ago...and i noticed there in a VERY thin wire running from the amp all the way to some fuse that i cant really read. any1 know what that is, im trying to build my own system and i have no clue what it is.

well i was planning on doing the big 3 for obvious reasons and getting one of the bigger sized xspower batts for the hell of hit.....you think they should be ok at 1 ohm?

quick question, do you guys think that 2 sa15's on a crescendo 3wkp is too much? im getting mix reviews on this. i have a neighbor thats really into car audio and he says to go with a smaller amp due to the fact that yes the SA line is an over build sub for the price but it is too much power. and then i have others say that due to the same fact they should be fine. just wondering what you guys thought...( btw they will be for dailey use )
