i just got my license and i have had my sub for a while but its been sitting in a ghetto box and now I'm getting a truck soon most likely a ranger or s10 somewhere around that type of truck but what i need help with is a box that won't take up the whole back i wanted it to take up at least half so I can still have 1 seat in the back and i also don't know what size to make the port and all that i made the thread to get some professional advice so i can have my sub sounding the best it can

i do have 4 tower speakers over where i sit an listen to music and it sounds pretty good haha except my receiver is a peace of junk

idk how much im gonna spend but prolly nothing to exspencive for now cuz this is my first truck and idont wanna over do it and electrical stuff im not to sure on i only no the basics of car audio and i came on here hoping i can learn some more and the orions or 600rms i think so should i get a lower watt version of the amp ur talking about? haha sorry if i sound like a noob i just dont wanna mess anything up

ok so im about to buy a system for my first truck and im not sure what to get i dont want anything super expensive right now but i want some thing good so i was looking at 2 Cerwin vega vmax 15s or 2 orion xtr pro 15s and i dont know what amp to get or 4 ohm or 2 ohm and i need some help and if u have better suggestions link me to them

ok im new here and im pretty sure this has been asked many times but my friend keeps telling me that anything over a 12inch sub will sound sloppy and shitty and i have herd 4 15in fi x and it sounded amazing but i thought i would double check sense u would know haha
