About what size amp were you looking for?

I had an MA Audio 4400 watt amp and it was a horrible amp, it would randomly turn off, then eventually it kept heating up one of the voice coils on one of my subs and then it was toast. Maybe I just had one of the bad ones haha.

Cadence ZRS-9000D Perhaps? It runs 6,000 RMS x 1 ohm @ 13.8 volts..Idon't know if you want to spend $2,100 though.. Woofers ETC

I used to have 2 12" MTX 4500's in the sledgehammer box about 9 months ago and I was happy with them, I ran them off of an Infinity 600 watt amp, I found 2 12" 5500s for sale on ebay and with shipping it is only about $145.. I had the 4500s in my explorer and I was very surprised at how they sounded, I think you would be happy plus these are higher up 600 peak 300 RMS.. eBay (2) 12" MTX 5500's If you wanna step up try the 7500's..

Thats the thing I am not sure what I want, I kind of want to go up to 18s so I was thinking of someone had an old box i could buy that would be perfect because i could get a box built but it is so expensive. How much would you charge for a box that was 40" wide, 3' long and 2' high? ported with a 1 1/4 top

I was wondering if anyone had a custom built box laying around, maybe from an old build. I was looking for a custom box for 2 15's or more, 4 15's, 1 18, 2 18's, stuff like that, but nothing less then 2 15's haha. If you have any let me know what and maybe post a picture. I am looking in purchasing one and thought it may be cheaper to buy someones old box on here. Thanks.

Does it come with a box? And I am not sure if anything I have would interest you since your getting a truck and I have 15s but let me know.

I also have an Explorer, with 20" rims though, I rub when I turn all the way as it is. I have seen one Explorer with 24s but he had to trim the bumper and wheel weel, his tire also rubbed on his upper and lower control arms constantly. I'd say go with the 22s but you could go 24s just expect swapping those front tires every 15-20k miles.

This is my first post on here but I just thought I'd put up some pictures of my new system. I just turned 18 and I have already gone through 6 systems. I became addicted to bass very quickly and now I just want more! My most recent system consists of the following which i ordered about two weeks ago: 1 XStatic BatCap Model 300 1 Power Acoustik PS2-2600 2 Soundstream T5-15 1 XXX 0 Guage wiring kit w/ 250 anl fuse I had everything put in on Saturday at Sound Solutionz and they did a great job as usual. A few other things I have in my Explorer are: CompuStar Pro P2W9000FMR alarm from SS Jensen In-Dash from SS (4) Infinity Kappa 680.7cs 5x7" Optima Red top Stinger 4 Guage Power and ground from batcap to amp RVM "Buck" 20" wheels 2.5% Tint on all windows except front two which are 25% Like I said I just turned 18 and I am a senior in high school so I don't have a ton of money but this system is amazing. I was stuck between the Fi BLs and these, A friend of mine has the bLs in his Explorer and they just weren't satisfying, great sub but just not enough. The Soundstreams are amazing and a great choice. I will get some pictures up very soon and hopefully a video or two.
