CUT BUDDY

Im talking about the new MTX 81001 thats 1ohm stable....I have 2 dual 4ohm subs....I might get 2-ZX750.1amps and call dat sh*t did....that will give me a lil over 900rms each.

I use to have 2-S12L7s (the generation II models) in my Explorer Sport running off of 2- Orion HCCA 275G amps which was about 800-1100rms to each. Then some doo doo head came through one night and snatched my amps but he couldnt get the subs......so Ive had the subs sitting in my closet for about 2yrs now. They still look almost new and they wanged like a bat outta hell. Well I was gonna sell em in order to get 2-BTLs in my Cutlass. But around here everybody wants something for nothing and nobody is willing to pay me what I want for my subs....they are offereing me crackhead prices like "I'll give u $50 for both or I'll give u $60 and a bullsh*t pyle amp" (smh). So I've just said F it and Imma put em back in my Explorer. Do u think I aught to run em off a Autotek MM2000.1D or a MTX TA81001D? (I can get the MTX for about $450-$500) and the (MM for about $500 maybe a tad bit more). Im trying to have this in my Explorer because my Explorer is my everyday car now(beat around town/work vehicle) so Im not gonna be putting but so much money into it....I still have to finish my Cutlass and my Tahoe as well. My Explorer is already a looker....I bought it back in 2000...20" Alba Blaze rims and I bought those rims when 20z were the biggest u could buy...I paid 3k for those 20z, billet, altezzas etc....Now that I have my other vehicles I use it for my daily. I was gonna do it for looks and to help keep da box totally sealed plus it keeps the install clean.

Hey Steve. I noticed those bolts comming out da back of da enclosure....is that how u wire the subs to da amp? I thought about da same thing, how do u do it; Just drill a hole using washers,nuts,and bolts with wre terminals on da end of da wire on both sides? Oh and I know those BTLs are taking da power like a Champ but Ive only seen u play it loud like dat in sperts....do u think they could be played loud like dat for a long period of time...say about a hour at once?

I want 4-18s but I dont have room. I first thought about 2-18s with 2-Warlords but I figured 4-15z with 2500 each would be louder than 2-18z with 5k rms. I probably would gain about 3-5db with da extra woofers even though its da same power.

Thats if its under 2500 bucks....if its more, then I think I'll be aight with 2 warlords...It aint but a daily ground and pound setup anyway.

Its probably 8000rms @ 14v cuz when the Warlord hit they say 5k but its 5k @14v so Im assuming they are saying 14v for the Conqueror as well. But yea I was looking at da guts and just looking at it; probably get more than 8k at 14v...maybe 9k if so Imma say F it and get 2 for da 4 BTL-15s Imma do this summer. I wonder what da fuse rating on it is? the Warlord takes 2-250amp fuses....for an extra 3k of rms probably will be 2-500amp fuses on the Conqueror. DAMNNNNNN! :cold: dats some cold issssh

1 word, MEADE! all those vids u see Meade beat'n down da block....that was off of a 80gb Apple. if ur sounds are up to par then they are up to par and it doesnt matter.

I just thought about sum'n. Is that what its rated at or is that what it actually gets....meaning I know its "rated" at 8k rms but would it get more than that at the same voltage? Like da t40001bd its "rated" at 4k but it does close to 5k.

I think Imma do like Megalo said and keep everything balanced. Have just as many runs in between my back batteries as I have from the front to the rear. Over kill aint never hurt nobody

It'll probably be around 2500 cuz the Warlord is 1500....If its more than that then ud be better off getting 2 warlords for $3k and gain a extra 2k rms at 14v. But this amp would do good on 2 BTL-18s or 15s. Ive asked u a million times and u still havent answered me, Adassa. Are yall going to be making smaller amps for the mids and highs??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

When u are doing multiple runs; once u get the runs to the rear do u have to have multiple runs between each battery? example: Say u have 3 runs of 1/0 awg from ur front battery to the rear of ur car or truck. U have 3 trunk batteries. U already have 3 runs comming from da front of da vehicle so once u hook those 3 up to the first battery in the trunk; do u do 3 positives and 3 negatives between each trunk battery also?

Check ur email....I attached a owners manual from the Orion HCCA D5000. They can be daisied. Just look at the owners manual. U can get the new D5000s for about 600 each shipped off ebay. I know people have been talking about its protection problem with the voltage drops but Ive also noticed most of those people didnt have a high amp alternator. So if ur electrical system is up to par then that shouldnt be a problem.

Thats cuz sonic electronic is using the ol t3k fuse rating. The T4k has a 500amp fuse....there is no way ur gonna get 4k + rms outta a 300amp fuse.....u might get up to about 3400 but not 4k. Is 1/0 the biggest wire u can use on those terminals? If so then how is it getting 500amps of current through that wire cuz I thought the most u could get through 1/0 is around 300ams of current or maybe a lil more.
