  1. Pretty easy, you can find the info all over the net and its covered here a lot. You can find diagrams too. But since I am bored I will help lol **edit** Found a pic, hahaha okay cool thats exactly how i have them wired already.. lol i used the same diagram and went with it, but thanks for the help anyway! lol
  2. ill have to do some checking around to find out how to run them parrelel then series haha pretty new still. thanks for the help man
  3. yeah i've never strapped an amp, so then yes i could hook this amp up to my Re's and get the full 3000rms @ 2 ohms ?
  4. i was looking at a Audiopipe 3000D amp, for my 2 15" RE SX subs they are D2.. i found out that the 3000d does 3000rms@ 2 ohms...to one sub.. or 1500rms @ 1 ohms for each sub.. so basically, could i hook up my two D2 15's and get 1500ish rms each sub?
  5. i run 2 15" RE sx's i love them, havent had them smell or anything yet.. only on 1700rms at the moment tho lol
  6. Between RE and JL. RE hands down in my opinion. The SX models are clean.
  7. That series of hifonics doesn't do rated. So itmightve not seemed loud enough so you might have tried to compensate by using too much gain or bass boost etc and could become dirty power. Would be my guess haha cause I don't think cheap amps put dirty power. Unless it's like legacy or boss etc haha
  8. i dont know if i wanna go much more power wise haha, batteries and alts n shit are way to expensive, moving out soon this year, buying a new quad/truck etc.. just too many bills, so im kinda leaning towards sticking with this amp or one around this rms range.. haha so im kinda leaning towards the 15's
  9. i have a hifonics BRZ 2400.1d... on 2 15" RE SX's and they aren't cutting it for me.. i have a new box design ready to go for them.. but im kind of thinking of switching to some sundown / obsidian.. so would i benifit having 2 15" SA-15's or obsidians overpowered with 2400rms or have 4 sa-12s/obsidians slightly underpowered? seeems like i wouldnt have enough power to run all 4 so i thought id ask you pros
  10. if you want 2 15's, personally for a 200$ budget id get a single 12 or 15" sub, look into obsidian audio, like 158$ for a 15" sub that can handle 1000rms no problem.
  11. Yeah I'll pay for a design sometime next week and re do it
  12. yeah 727 i know, just today i wanted to really get around to trying to fix it so thought id just ask again. looks like i might just build a new one after this comp next weekend.
  13. this was my first box build ever, and i had C.Sanchez A designing it for me, i had NO clue about box building and designing so i just got it from him and built it, dont have to be a dick about it man..
  14. yeah no doubt lol, ive been looking at 2 of them to run on 2.4k rms myself haha
  15. also, will adding mdf to the port walls fix my unloading problem?
  16. yeah id LOVE to lower the tuning to around 30hz, so how could i figure out my tuning if i put 1 or 2 cuts of MDF along the side to shrink the port .75 - 1.5" ?
  17. ive been told they can handle like 1.2k easy, people are running 2 obsidian 15's on 2-3k
  18. so my box is around 8 cubes, without port. and the port itself is like 4-5cubes of space i believe, ill give pics and demensions, but anyway, i was told to make my port smaller or make a new box, so could i cut some mdf same width/length as my port and glue it to the side wall of the port? it would be .75" mdf so should a layer or two make the port small enough to hopefully handle my slight problem with my subs unloading? demensions are 50x22x26 it's a huge box, but i would prefer if my subs hit at the same time below tuning lol
  19. when i bought my 1512 from local shop, they said DD recommends you to break it in for almost a month.. atleast that's what they said.
  20. i have no real input, but i really wanna get a MX .lol what are you trading for it?
