Well it looks im going with the dc. I contacted fi and the way they responded made me not want their product. Dc people on here are nice and that goes a long ways in my book. So I will be going with dc level with an extra spider Thanks for all the input

Not necessarily. That stronger motor could be pushing a heavier cone, or it could (and probably does) have a stiffer suspension (spider(s)). Probably shouldn't need to worry about it too much imo. If you want to try something new get the obsidians and give us a review, or get a stand by like some lvl 3's, or sa. You can't really go wrong with any of them. Ok that's why I asked. Thanks man

Between those three it's looking like now. I will spend 220ish on a good sub. All of those have a good hard name on this site. So now I get to decide. The fi is the same price and has an extra 400 rms almost. So yeah that is winning now.

Why? Why do I love my SA? Because for the money it sounds good, gets damn loud, and is handling this AQ2200D like a champ! I want to get my hands on some Obsidians just to try them out. Haven't heard them in person yet, but with Nick and Jacob doing the work on them they can't be bad. I do like the looks of the obsidians

I run aq subs and amps and I love them good bass for a great price and trust me thier not cheap I know people who run 9k on 4 hdc3s So far looking like aq is winning. But I have to ask. Their motor weighs 140oz while my t3 ones weigh 200. What's the difference in that in the sub world? And also their website says 500-600. Why would they have a 100rms range? Do they not know what they will run?

As title says. I will be purchasing two new subs next month. I currently am running t3t600s but was wanting to move up to four but due to coil issues its looking like I will be visiting other companies. I am pushing whatever I buy with a hifonics Brutus 1700 so two ohm rms is 1200 and 1 is 1700 I would like to stay at 600 rms per sub maybe more if the prices are good. I run 15s they have to be dual 2ohm vc. Would like them to cost no more than 200 each. Possibly a tad more if need be but not lots more. Getting married next month. There is nothing wrong with my t3s I just feel like I need more. And if anyone has heard them against others like dc or whoever and thinks they sound as good please let me know. Save me some money Thanks in advance

the difference between that and second skin is that roofing products use asphalt based stuff (what roads are made out of) were as second skin uses butyle or rubber. go punch your tire and the road and tell me which feels better. its works for heat but rubber is quieter. you do no have to 100 percent cover your entire floor in second skin either. a few sheets of damp pro goes a long ways.you can leave spaces in between sheets also with second skin. and you would not have to go more than one layer think with it either.

make you a couple little pods to go inside somewhere... what good does a good pair of 6x9s do you if they are at your house and you are not? get you one of those roll bar hanging speaker things. stick you some in there?
