  1. Hey, how do I claim that paypal credit for that vid of morrison's new song "dope"?

  2. May not play right off, fresh from the youtube upload. But, its almost midnight here, i live in apartments, and its close to 20 degrees outside. So I couldn't turn them up loud due to neighbors and weather, but it is a video of me riding around till the whole song plays out. I'll get a better vid tomorrow while everyone is at work! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N2UmA_17NY Edit: It sounds like shit at first, didn't really crank it up (if thats what you can call it) till about 1:00 in, then had to turn it down because I passed by the Police Station before that last left turn! GET YOURS BRO THAT SHIT WAS POUNDING!! Let me know what you want from one of the partners and i will take care of the $50 credit!! good shit bro!! Is Darvex.com one of those sponsors?

  4. I wanna see a vid of those towers slappin to this meade. Let us see what they can do. And don't worry, first thing tom, ill have this song up in a flex vid.
  5. Dude, a piece of advice. When the first sentence in your thread is completely wrong, not pick a number 1-10 wrong, but true or false wrong, nobody pays attention to the rest of your post. Alpine did have a line of V12 amps, and I do believe this one had a V12 Decal on it.
  6. Okay, you get the picture on cold subs. Freesing temps are bad. As far as the touchscreen, its according to your monitor. If its plasma, its possible to mess it up with the cold. But as for an LCD or LED screen, it won't hurt it.
  7. Try google sketchup. It looks like it would be easier. IDK b/c i've never used this program, but just by judging looks, i think sketchup would be simpler...with a lot more options.
  8. Ignition wire should go to a switch, then to the battery. Here is an easy way to do it if you don't want so many wires going through your firewall. Run a main power (blue) from the positive of your battery, to the side A of the switch. Splice in your red wire from the radio to this side of the switch. Then run the yellow wire from the radio to the other side of the switch. Next, run the ground wire (black) from the radio to a ground in your car...if a decent one can't be found, run it to the negative side of your battery.
  9. Okay, test the radio first...take the radio out of the dash, and carry it to your battery. Touch the black wire to the negative...now, with the yellow and red twisted together, touch them to the positive. If radio doesn't come on, then the something is wrong with the radio. Check fuses in the back, and make sure they are good. If no fuses are blown, you may have a bad radio. If the radio works, then wire it like the diagram above...with the exception of I have the red and yellow wires confused. I apologize for that. Red should go to a switch, then to the battery, and the yellow goes straight to the battery.
  10. I had this issue several times when i first started car audio. Here is the simplest thing in my opinion. The red wire goes from the radio to the positive side of the battery. The yellow wire will go from the radio, to a switch, then to the positive side of the battery. If you think you will have an issue with leaving the radio on when you get out, then wire it to a fuse that cuts off with the car. But I like the switch b/c if you go to a car show, or a parking lot, you can leave the radio on without leaving your keys in your car. Then lastly, run the black wire from the radio to a ground in the car, or the negative side of the battery. One more FYI tidbit, do not run the wires through the door jams. Drill a hole in the firewall, then run the wires through the hole. Make sure you use a grommet on the hole, or cover the wires in split loom. Here is a diagram that might help you out. I just realized, I have the red and yellow wires mixed up...I apologize, and I hope nobody made stupid comments about it. Sorry, I apologize.

  12. The next lexus commercial will say... Lexus, now partnered with Steve Meade from SMD, the most famous individual on the internet in the car audio world, is introducing the New 2012 Lexus ISF-SMD
  13. uh no please read the rules in the for sale section.
  14. Apparently, alot of people in rio de jenero, and other hispanic countries are doing this alot. Is this some kind of audio sport I haven't heard of?
  15. I know man, and I was going to, but I didn't wanna load up the Team forum with simple questions like this. I just thought the General Audio was more fit for people asking simple questions. Well i mean in the Bullshit thread... Post whatever you want in there even if it is just simple questions... Will do...will remember that for my next question...thanks!
  16. I know you all understand what I am saying, but I am a visual person, and I feel that I won't have fully explained myself until I put up these diagrams. Enjoy

  18. I know I've put up a few extra posts today, but bare with me. I'm puttin four extra batteries in the hatch of my tahoe. What is the correct way to wire them. In a series, positive from one battery to the negative of the other, or in a series where both positives and both negatives are hooked together. I know what this does to Ohms when wiring speakers and amps, but I have no idea what effect this has on batteries.
  19. hey, i started off with walmart junk. And look where i'm at now! Pretty sure when SMD started off, he had walmart junk too. But on the real, you are gonna need some more money. No way you can buy a deck, speakers, and wiring for under $200 w/out it being walmart, or biglots.
  20. I do wanna be able to put some 35's on the truck. But the main thing I am looking for is for the cab to be high off the ground. Where you gotta jump up to get in. If I put blocks on the rear and turn up the tortion keys, should I be able to fit 35's or at least 33's on the truck? If so, i believe i could just put a 3 or 4 inch body lift on it to achieve the look I want.
  21. I bought my first 4x4, a 97 tahoe. All I've done is upgrade to slightly bigger stock tires, and turn up the tortion keys a bit. I wanna know what the difference is between a body lift, and a suspension lift. What are the pros and cons of each, and is it good to put both on an suv? Where can I find a good lift at for a good price?
  22. This is how i change it everytime...it won't go from 2hi to 4lo, or 4lo to 2hi without going to 4hi in between. Now it will go from 2hi to 4hi in park and in neutral, but it only goes from 4hi to 4lo in neutral. Does this effect anything?
